is there a place that will help him financialy, he tried several places but they tell him he makes 200.00 to much to recieve help, he tried to get food stamps and he makes .50 to much. The company he works for allows heim to work 4 hours a day. he will lose his house and vehicle, is there any where hwre he can get assistance
He hurt his back and is under a doctors care but the company wouldn't pay him workmans comp.

My sister left her abusive husband about 2 weeks ago. They have a child together. This is really hard on her. I am doing my best to try to cheer her up. Last night I had to take away her keys because she wanted to go back to him (she made me promise I wouldn't let her go back). It was a tough situation and she was mad at first, then she snapped back to reality. How do I cheer her up? Has anyone else been in this situation? What helped you?

A couple of days ago I asked a question regarding sending flowers to someone I didn't even know, and got some very nice responses. Well she got them and text messaged me about 4 times yesterday. Telling me how sweet it was that I did & that I made her day. Sorry to say she has a boyfriend already, but was very very flattered at what I had done. Am I sorry I sent her the flowers? Hell no, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Well lol at least I made someone's day a little brighter. Again thanks for all the kind responses out there.

my boyfriend and i broke up about a month now and i jus cant' get over him, he still wanted to be friends and i jus blew up on him and involved my mom and she told him don't ever come back by us and that it's over and he jus simply said nothing i ask my sis yesterday and she told me that i over reacted and it wasnt' called for and she knew that he felt bad. the truth is i'm really missing him and all my attempts to see him has failed, he's trying to avoid me. honestly he treated me really really nice but now i want him back and he's not showing interest, what do u think i should do??? please help do u think there's still hope

I am getting married June 14, 2008. My mother and father are divorced, but are both paying for most of the wedding, like porobably 75%, if not more. My question is, my fiance doesn't talk to his father at all who is divorced from his mother. He talks to his mother, but we're not thinking that she is going to contribute anything, or if she is able to. My mother, who I am not sure is being unfair, thinks that there is 20 months to save mony at least to help, if not to pay for the alcohol and rehersal dinner. Yes, I do have 3 people paying compared to his one that might help, but I dn't know what to do. My mom thinks that if they are paying for most of it then they get to invite more people and all that kind of thing. I am not marrying my fiance because his family has money, but I do think that it isn't fair for my parents to foot the bill for the whole thing. What do you htink I can do or should do so that this doesn't get out of control???

Have just started going with this guy I've known for years, he's just come out of a 4 year relationship, so we both agreed it would just be a bit of fun. We get on really well, and have only just slept together after meeting and chatting for the last 2 months. Only I'm a little confused as he wants to take me out for dinner on my birthday and has bought me a present? He says how he's only interested in me and tells me when he's missing me. We speak every day and he always wants to see me, but then in some texts he carefully reminds me we're just having fun. My bf broke up w/ me 2 weeks ago. He broke up w/ me. I figured I'd given him some time so yesterday I walked over to his house and apologized and basically poured my heart out to him. When I left, I felt so much better. Not that I thought we'd get back together, but because I've always felt like there's nothing worse than words left unsaid. Last night I find out that he was telling all his friends that I came over and was asking why he won't talk to me anymore (in a real whiny voice) and asking for us to get back together. It was a real personal conversation and he made a joke out of it. Men suck sometimes.

My son Patrick, is a caring, compationate person who is serving 3 years for probation violation, and it seems like I am the only one who has wrote to him in two years. He tells me it get's so lonely looking outside to see only fences and barbed wire, day in and day out. He asks me again and again to find someone to write to him, because it's so boring, and he promises to write back. He is not asking for help, just for some contact from the outside world! He is allowed pictures, but not poloroid, and printed pictures, five at a time, stamps and envelopes five at a time(if you want to send him that stuff) I am not asking you to send him stuff, I am just letting you know the rules of the prison. at what stage do you decide enough is enough and someone in authority should be informed? One of the children appears to be rather 'simple' for want of a better word and I feel sorry for them hearing the language coming from their house. I've no reason to believe there's physical assaults as such, though I did see the yobbo father grab hold of his son's collar to drag him indoors.I don't know these people to speak to so I can't have a tactful word with them or anything.

This guy @ skool keeps on teasing me. I recently blocked him from messanger and now he teases me less but still teases me yet seems to avoid me when he sees me. He never goes online now.
