My son Patrick, is a caring, compationate person who is serving 3 years for probation violation, and it seems like I am the only one who has wrote to him in two years. He tells me it get's so lonely looking outside to see only fences and barbed wire, day in and day out. He asks me again and again to find someone to write to him, because it's so boring, and he promises to write back. He is not asking for help, just for some contact from the outside world! He is allowed pictures, but not poloroid, and printed pictures, five at a time, stamps and envelopes five at a time(if you want to send him that stuff) I am not asking you to send him stuff, I am just letting you know the rules of the prison. This is the address:
Patrick Wilson #R31726(C-21325)
Lake Correctional Institution
19225 U.S. Highway 27
Clermont, FL 34715
Any letters would be surely appreciated. Thank you!!

You can post his information for free, lots of people have had really good results...read through some of the other posts to see what kind of information to provide.
Good luck~!
And to those who are considering becoming a pen pal- What a lovely thing to do..you'll make someone's day by writing! Be careful though, get a Post Office Box so you don't have to give out your home address to total strangers and don't give out personal information too soon...basically the same rules you follow on the internet to keep safe. And remember that just like on-line, people might not be up-front about who they really are... if it feels like someone is lying or being pushy about a "relationship" drop them.
When you first start writing, don't use any glitter or stickers because many facilities do not allow them.If you're under 18, you might not be allowed to write, some places only let minors write if they are family members(if that's the case writing to an inmate could get HIM in trouble, so don't do it)
I hope you make a few good friends!

I easily have very almost had it with all the "i'm so plenty better than everyone else in this website" human beings on right here. the place do any such super form of of you get off claiming that any one has been a damaging make certain? None human beings knows this man or woman or this youthful guy that went to detention center at age 18. Is there any human beings right here that in the time of no way made a nasty determination? I easily have in no way been under the impression of alcohol, in no way slept around, in no way tried any drugs, yet I additionally did not constantly pay attention to my mum and dad. How rather a number of my alternatives would have had profound consequences on my life or that of those around me. How approximately some compassion? have you ever heard the expression, "do not choose a guy till you have walked a mile in his shoes"? maximum jails and prisons require that each and everyone telephone calls (even community be made deliver at the same time to evade any danger of the ability incurring any quotes for telephone costs. My son in a federal regulation enforcement officer and he says it occurs even at that time. i understand that our community county detention center has the same coverage. i'm valuable that it has certainly been a difficulty for you. the unhappy undertaking is that kin delivers tobacco products yet not telephone enjoying cards. i'm hoping which you will take exhilaration in a superb reunion with him and that considering the fact that he will have paid his debt to society he would be waiting to start life anew and characteristic a dedication to residing interior the limitations of the regulations. God bless you the two.

Hope your son does his time then moves on with his life...No matter what some others may think its not all that difficult to be in the same situation that your son is... sometimes just one mistake can put you in prison...A good friend of my youngest son had one to many drinks then drove...had an accident with a fatality, did over 4 years in prison...I am talking a honor roll student not long out of high school...

Will do Honey! I have a 22 year old son and I feel for what you must be going through. I don't care what anyone says, they are still so young and have so much to learn. They need the love and concern and caring of people while they still figure out who they are.
All the best!

hmmm caring and compassionate well if he was those things he wouldn't be in jail now would he,Let me guess he's innocent right I'll have my wife start writing him right away. She'd be happy to have a known criminal know where she and my children live so he can come and visit them in the middle of the night when he gets out
