How complicated does it make things when they let public school out for meetings?

I can never find a sitter.

They need to give parents plenty of notice, at least a week, when school is going to be out so they can make arrangements.

I hate it, and I stay home!
I'm really happy, where my kids go now, they don't do these day here and there things--it's a 3 or 4 day weekend or a week off.
I was always a person who took the sitter-less kids, so I do feel for you.
