You should at least try to help him take that company to court, depending on how and when he got hurt he could have a very good chance of winning. And if by chance he does happen to win the case he could get alot of money. So he will be able to pay at least some of his bills, and maby buy some food and other things as well.

I think your son needs to talk to a workers comp lawyer.. has he tried salvation army? does he go to Church? Some Churches will help out or may be able to send him in the right direction. I don't believe you can still work (even if it's just 4 hours) and still collect comp.. I could be wrong though.. and if he does talk to a lawyer they should be able to give him idea's of places that will help.

He needs to get an attorney and sue these jerks. The company doesn't get to decide whose fault it is - that's up to the law. There are many attorneys out there who specialize in worker's compensation. Look on the internet or in the phone book and you'll find one.
Your son is being victimized. He shouldn't have to be living on assistance - he deserves legal help to make this company pay. Help him stand up to them.

if your son got hurt at work on company time ... he has every right to get workers comp. ... no matter how many hours he works.
workers comp would pay for all his medical bills and if he's not working light duty, he'd be on short-term disability or something like that. he would basically receive 60% of his pay. not sure where you're from ... but try contacting your state dept and ask if they have a disability program for your son while he's out on leave. see what they say.
keep me posted on this please, I'd like to know what's going on .. this is serious! Email me at: daisie_w@yahoo.com

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

If his doctor declares that his injury is genuine, than they dont have a choice. The doctor also has to be the one to declare if he can work, if at all. He needs to get a lawyer.

You are asking the wrong question. Its not "Where do I get help?" The right question is "How can he get a job he can do with his bad back?"
The help you need may never come. Don't depend on it.
