I've seen Asian and Asian, Caucasian and Caucasian, Asian and African, African and Caucasian, Hispanic and Caucasian, Hispanic and Black, etc., etc. But why no Asian and Caucasian?
Especially in movies and television, Asian people are either extremely intelligent and single (like in Grey's Anatomy) or nerdy and dating other Asians (like that one Korean girl in Gilmore Girls). I'm not saying anybody is a cruel racist, I just think it's more of a subconscious thing. It's like when Caucasians see a hott Caucasian, they think, "Whoa, he/she's hott, I wish I could to date him/her." But when Caucasians see a hott Asian, they think, "Whoa, he/she's hott." And that's it. It's not exactly cruel or intentional racism, but it's like Caucasians don't even consider dating Asians merely because they're Asians.
So why is it? Why aren't their more Caucasians and Asian couples? Is it the media? Or something else?
