I think if you cheat on someone, it's bad, if you cheat on someone because they cheated on you, that is even worse, simply because your only act ans reason for cheating was because you were cheated on and hurt in the process so you feel you need to get revenge and return the favor. Baby girl, doing this is only hurting yourself. whether this is you or a friend, I'm sure you or that person is way better than what it is you are doing. Just think about it, What if the one time you call yourself cheating to get revenge, you end up with HIV, LETS JUST SAY THAT WAS THE CASE, then what, would it still have been worth it to cheat on that person because they did it to you. No. So the next time this is your thought of action, think about your worth.

cheating is cheating no matter what the circumstances. there is no grey area. If you want to stay with your mate after he/she has been unfaithful you have to first forgive that person and then be willing to drop the issue. Nothing good can come from lowering yourself to the other persons position. Some people think that it will bring justice ,but all it will do is lower your self respect and cause you feelings of guilt. Don't do it.

yes two wrongs don't make a right. You know how it feels to be cheated on why would you subject someone else to that fate just because they did it first?

two wrongs dont make a right ... end the relationship and move on
an additional thought ... since being faithful and a committed relationship is so important to you, why would you have meaningless sex with someone to get even? it cheapens the value you place on fidelity as well as yourself. find someone you care about and who wil be faithful

Yes, do not lower yourself to their standards. Just move on and you will find someone who respects you for who you are and you will never have to disrespect yourself to "get" a person back!
Good Luck

Yes I do. Just because you were the victim, doesn't mean it's suddenly right. It will be difficult, but you have to rise above your offender.
I wish you the best at it.

No, but wait a few hours before doing it.
Seriously, my wife cheated on me for two years before I said, NO MORE MR NICE GUY! Let your conscience be your guide, your hormones your scouts. But don't suffer too much; chin up, eyes forward. Anyway, if you and your mate are meant for each other, you'll overcome it...
