Well now, it sounds like you need some male bonding and a trip to a strip club.

I am so sorry that your marriage didn't work. If I were you, I would give her the poem and make a copy of it for myself. Don't be too quick to jump into a relationship. Take time to heal. Go out more with your friends/family, vent, date, cry, pray, and do all the things you enjoy while doing things to advance and better yourself. Writing out your pain is very therapeutic and can ease some of the pain and get you in the right direction to moving on. I said to make a copy of the letter because I too use to write poems about a person who made me sad but as time went by and I read those poems, I laugh and couldn't believe I felt that way about the person! Be optimistic and go have some fun! There is a whole world out there with someone out there right for you. Take care.

Dude, don't send her any poems.....just let it go. I'm only saying this to help you cause obviously I don't know you, but from my personal experience let it go and if I were you, you should probably not even be in each other's company anymore......I know it sounds harsh but that's life. She moved on.....now you have to....there's alot of other women out there. Consider it a scar and move on.....how do you think Sinatra was able to put so much emotion into the lyrics of the songs?....cause he lived it too. Move on and good luck.

Sad. You were married for less than a year and she left? Why would you go to a family reunion with her? Do you two have kids together? It's a heartbreaking poem, but I dont understand it with the details given.

While poems are one thing, just simply tell her that u respectfully decline her invitation and tell her you're moving on and seeing her won't be a good idea. Then let her go and let her learn her lesson the hard way.

Suround yourself with friends and stay busy. You'll be over her in no time.
