I kicked out my boyfriend (basically my husband) of 6yrs last week. After 2 yrs of dating and after I moved in with him, I found out he was on drugs. It devastated me. I did everything to help him and finally he went to a very expensive/prominent rehab 1 1/2 yrs ago. It cost almost 15,000. His family helped me to help him. He is 51 and they told me had been on Heroin since he was 16. Well last week he came home from a weekend trip to his home town and was on it again. I saw how he was and decided not to go through the fiery pits of hell again and I kicked him out. I am hurt because be did not even say goodbye to me. He could have said Thank U, I 'm sorry, kiss my butt or something, but he said nothing and left town. He had told me a few years ago that no one had ever tried to help him before me and that no one had faith in him and I was the best thing that ever happened to him. Well I feel really crapped on and as if I meant nothing at all to him. I guess he loves drugs more.

I don't think I'm an attractive girl. For some reason I become really angry if anyone says or implies that I'm pretty. I do well in school and would rather be thought of as smart than pretty. Can girls be both smart and pretty? Who are? I also hold grudges if someone tries to fix me up or calls my friend and I a "cute couple." As much as I try to forgive them, I can't. It might be for these reasons that I can't get a date. Some people believe that guys are scared of me and wouldn't ask me out for that reason. I am considering going to a school dance at the end of the month, but I have a strong feeling that I'd be a wallflower and waste my evening. I'd really love to enjoy my last year of high school so I need some advice on how to correct my errors. I am in high school so I understand if some people think that my problem is immature or childish (which it is), but I still want advice so that I can be happy for my senior year. If you want free points, please don't attack me.

Is it normal for guys not to divulge information to the girl he goes out with? Somehow, I feel that it's easier for our mutual friend to extract information from him. For instance, he wouldn't tell me his birthdate and I had to find out from our mutual friend. He tend to hit the bush when I ask him serious questions. Therefore, I can't really tell whether he's serious and when he's not.

I recently posted a question about having my stepfather walk me the first half of the way, then handing me off to my father to have him walk me the rest of the way. i wondered what my stepfather should do once he hands me to my father. Most people said to have them both walk me the entire way. I dont think my dad would be comfortable with that, and I feel that my father should be the one to actually give me away. I honestly hated my stepfather for many years of my life, and have only recently become close to him.

Any opinons on this->
Having my mom and stepfather walk me the first half of the way, then hand me to my father.

If I did this, would my mom and stepdad walk the rest of the way in front of us, while we waited, then walked the 2nd half....so they would already be up there when we reached the front? or would they follow behind us?

For some reason, I don't like the idea of following behind. I feel like the bride should be the last person down the aisle. Opinons?

Thanks!

I know a couple going through a rough time, 30 years into marriage because the wife has decided she lived her life for him, and she doesn't know who she is. He has apologized for his way of handling things countless times, but she still won't say she loves him, show him any affection, and continues to be angry. It took her 30 years to say "Enough." Does she have the right to hold it over his head? For how long?

if your parents tell you not to do something slightly dangersous(like football)...and you want to do it really bad, but you know if they found out you would probably never see the outside of your bedroom walls.

My mom had tickets to a concert at a country/western place in Fort Worth called Billy Bobs. It is a bar but it is also just a place where famous country singers have concerts and alot of people even bring their kids. Well my husband had a fit when I said that I wanted to go. He said i was married and had no business in a bar. It didn't matter that it was with my mother. I ended up telling her to ask someone else, but I still think my husband was being rediculous. What do you think?

My boyfriend of 5 years, without telling me, got in contact, through myspace, with an exgirlfriend. For the last 2-3 months they've talked on the phone WITHOUT ME KNOWING. She was the one b4 me. I asked him about it, he told me it was someone he went to high school with. When i asked, after like the 5-6 time, he told me it was her. Should I be worried that they have something goin on? She is in another state. Am I just a women very insecure or should I worry? He was with her about a year

Ok, here's the deal... I'm 23 fem... I gotta 2 1/2 yo lil girl. I'm not your typical 'chic.' I don't like shopping. I'm not much into 'fashion.' My clothes consist of jeans, boots and a t-shirt. I'm not a slob but I just don't doll up and what not. I would rather hike or fish or just ride around on back roads. I find myself attractive - more inside than out though. And it seems that I can't find a guy who's interested in me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't do drugs, don't drink. I'm more of a 'friend' to guys than girlfriend material. The last guy that I dated or whatever (for 2 months) said he'd rather be my best friend and I haven't heard from him since. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I seem to attract jerks and losers. And here I am, another Saturday night - at home, on the net. I don't have any female friends to talk to or to confide in. They'll talk to me at school (college) but when it comes to hanging out, they ditch me. Can anyone give me any advice?? Please

Do you ever post questions on here that aren't about you, but the reader starts to talk about how they will pray for you or how twisted you are, and it was more of a wondering that stemmed from another question, tv, or a conversation? Tell me of your experience, and reaction.

I'm married for 24 years and have known my wife since she was 9 and I was 13. We've raised our little guys past adolescence and they took some of the spark out of our closeness as you can expect through the years.

Does anyone have suggestions on this before we become "old dogs" that can't be taught new tricks. ARF!
