Is it normal for guys not to divulge information to the girl he goes out with? Somehow, I feel that it's easier for our mutual friend to extract information from him. For instance, he wouldn't tell me his birthdate and I had to find out from our mutual friend. He tend to hit the bush when I ask him serious questions. Therefore, I can't really tell whether he's serious and when he's not.

depends on who's been friends longer you or mutual friend...yes most guys are like that...everone needs a secret, even a stupid small one

well depending on how new the relationship is this could be "nothing at all" or a really big problem men in new relationships tend to be more comfortable with the boys or friends that you both know but some men never grow out of this little phase some of them tell things to mutual friends because they know that you will find them out and that saves them the hassle of having to tell you
