My boyfriend of 5 years, without telling me, got in contact, through myspace, with an exgirlfriend. For the last 2-3 months they've talked on the phone WITHOUT ME KNOWING. She was the one b4 me. I asked him about it, he told me it was someone he went to high school with. When i asked, after like the 5-6 time, he told me it was her. Should I be worried that they have something goin on? She is in another state. Am I just a women very insecure or should I worry? He was with her about a year

Getting in touch and talking to an ex-girlfriend is not cheating.
However, not being completely forthright and honest with your current gf about it IS on the same level as cheating, in my opinion.
The old line is, "If you have nothing to hide, you won't be trying to hide something". And clearly, he's got something to hide. He tried to to an end-around on you (by telling you it was "just someone he went to HS with) - hoping that would deflect your suspicions. It took him 5-6 times of you asking for him to come clean.
Yes, you should be worried he still has some emotional tie to this girl.
However, you should also be asking yourself if you're doing everything you could be to make your relationship with him work. Would he really be looking backwards to an old gf if he was happy in his current relationship?
Sorry to be blunt, but you need to be as objective as possible about that last question. Best to you both.

Sorry to tell you but if your partner will lie to you, he will cheat on you. I would be very careful. You may end up finding out the truth through an STD. A permanent reminder that you should have wised up sooner.

I think that he needs to stop doing this or admit that he has some sort of a relationship wiuth her.
I don't consider this cheating but if he knows that he wants to be with her then call it quits.
If he is talking about her kids and you and your life together and he is happy and just keeping her updated then don't let it bother you.

Yes you should be worry. He took the time to track down this girl. If she is just a friend then why lie? If nothing is going on then why keep it from you.

well i think you need to get involved and tell him how u feel and tell him that you don;t like what is going on! B/c it might lead to him cheating and getting ur feelings hurt! But if he loves you truely, he might just be talking to her as just friends....But it might be nothing to worry about... just dont get jealous. Just talk to him more.. tell him how u feel...see what happens after that! Good Luck!

Yes, you should be worried. It sounds as if he's not really all that loyal to you, since obviously he is rebuilding his relationship with his old flame.
