i lost my bother last year and i have not stopped missing him it still bothers me?

we were close and i cant seem to get over it.he was the only person on earth that knew and understood me and i was the same for him.i dont expect any new revelations about grieving but i would like to know of others experience with this heartache

Single dad syndrome?

I live in a town which i dislike and i only know say three or four people with one i can ask a favour from - i am struggling with debts, rent, and general living! I dont have much of a social life and spend my days making music working and watching tv. Why do I have all this in my life you say..........I stay here for my son as me and his mum split 2 years ago - I was with him for his first four years and have seen him nigh on everyweekend since the split - he is a gorgeous, intelligent boy who is now nearly 6 years old and i know that what i have already done has helped him get through things so I have no concern about his mental state. what I am starting to find is there is nothing for me but a struggle to keep working and keeping myself company because i dont earn enough to go out and make friends or meet new people. I refuse to be a dead beat daddy! but when he is grown he wont be concerned about me he will have his own life - what do I do ? stuck, catch 22...........???

How do I go on?

I was with my ex-boyfriend for 3 years, we have a beautiful daughter together but for the past 2 years he was allways mentally and emotioanlly abusing me and now for the past 4 monthes he was phisically abusing me. He went to jail and i have a restraining order against him. Yesterday i went to check the mail cause i live with my parents now and he lives in my apartment with his mom and he saw me and tried to get me to talk to him but my uncle got in the car after giving him the letters and left. He stood there watching me leave and that really got to me. I dont know what to do. It's hard because i love him but he has done so much damge to me and i keep wanting to forgive him. He was allways accusing me of cheating but yet it was the other way around, he called me names, and hit me and i still want to forgive him. How do I get him off my mind and move on?

He is friends with my ex. I saw him out one night and we hit it off well with conversation.I was still bitter about catching my ex cheating on me.He listened and understood.He drove me home that night and I invited him to stay and asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did and I asked him to put his arm around me, he did till I slept.He was a complete gentelman and did not try anything.I saw him once since and he came to me and said "your killing me",my ex was there so we had to keep it quiet.It has been 6 months since that night and I still think about him.Could that night have affected him like it did me?I dont have his number so I cant call him.I just wonder if he still thinks of me even though its been so long.

In love but I know it is wrong?

I am not looking for judgement...i am looking for honest answers. I am in a situation and need advice...I reciently had an affair with a married man and my heart is breaking I do know it is wrong but i want it so much...he is the love of my life...i have tried to distance myself from him in the last few weeks but i long just to hear his voice...i think about him all the time...i dont wanna be there when it is convient for him but i'll take it if there is no other time...i know it sounds bad but i am so in love with him i can not eat or sleep...He did tell me he loved me too..So what would you do? I tried to walk away but my head and my heart are fighting..i know in my head it is wrong to be with a married man but my heart tells me different...please help!

Which is more ethical...?

Ok, my friend wont listen to me so Im gonna get the spoken word of the people. Which is more ethical?

a.) To date a girl who is pretty, fun, and the same age as you (theyre both 16), but is a grade lower (were talking about a junior guy and sophomore girl)
b.) To date a girl who is your same grade and very smart, but is 6 months older than you and not as pretty as the first girl.

Is it better to date the second one, maybe because its more likely that they could stay together? I already gave my friend my opinion, let's hear yours. 10 points to the most detailed anwser.

What would you have done?

This is heavy on my mind. I am seperated by my choice, my ex was not as willing to let go. After 2 months of seperation, he knocks on my door and wants my wedding ring back. (We were married 8 years). I gave it up because I didn't want him to think I was harboring feelings for him. However, I am uneasy about my decision, because I would hav eliked to some day give the ring to one of my children. What would you have done in this situation. (I have his wedding band)
