My brother takes care of his 2yr old daughter Mon-Fri and the mother takes her on the weekends. The mother is a welfare recipient that does not work, yet my brother pays for daycare because she will give him a hard time if he asks her to watch the baby. There is a rumor going around the neighborhood the girl lives in, that the baby is not his. My mother tried to get him to take a paternity test and he refuses. I told him to leave her alone from the moment I met her, as she is very ghetto and never works and he works and has a degree. (I think in a relationship, one should deal with like minded individuals.) Now he owns his own company and makes a very good living. Is there any way the mother can take my neice from him and then get an astronomical amount of child supprt? What does he need to do to ensure this does not happen?

I was wondering if girls just kind of say I love you to most of their friends as a casual thing, or do they only say it when they really mean it? I (im a guy, duh) would only say I love you to a friend if I REALLY cared for her (and I wouldnt say it to a guy, coz at 15 yrs old that would be weird, lol). But, so, do girls also reserve this for their closest friends, or do they use the term "love" quite flipantly???

You see fat, disgusting kids with parents taking them to fast food restaurants, or eating candy and riding in a stroller when they should be walking? The parents are in my generation (30's) and I am not getting why parents are giving their children such a bad start in life. The parents already have their children on the road to high cholesterol, hypertension, and heart attack. I think it's very selfish to not adequately nourish children and make sure they get exercise. I see 2yr olds that are fat and waddling with french fries in their hands! And I've had people tell me my daughter is too skinny! She eats fruits and juice and healthy food. As a parent, it is the parent's responsibility until they are old enough to buy their own food to feed them properly. I'm seeing it so much that it can't be a health problem causing the weight. It's dietary habits and lack of exercise!

Its really hard, he is REALLY talking to me like 4 yrs never happen and we have been nothing but friends all this time. I ache in my heart everytime we talk even though I am acting and laughing like all is fine and good. I tear up and try not to go noticed over the phone or on the net. Am I being fair to myself? I met a girl 6 years back in college. I developed a serious crush on her and kept it to myself with out having the courage to tell her about my feelings. Suddenly Now after a gap of 6 years of no communication of any sort I burst out all my feelings for her which I hid for 6 years.
