Why would she tell you that she loves you if she didn't mean it. She was honest with you and told you what she is going through. If you think she is worth it, you should stick by her side through this. It will mean very much to her when all this is over. If you can't handle what she is going through, you should part ways, so you both can move on. This doesn't make you a bad person. Some people can handle these things and some just can't, and no one says you have to. You have to decide what you want and make your decisions. Good Luck

Hey, most of us can not even make ourselves happy, so what are the chances you can cure anothers depression. Listening without offering solutions can help. Hugs help. pointing out the good stuff can help. Listening helps if you do not try to solve it. Doing things to get her mind off it can help. Offering to go to a counselor with her might help. There are often free ones at churches. Listening without judging helps.
For your own sake find out if this is a re occuring state, which may mean there is an organic problem that has nothing to do with others yet she would often site others looking for a reason if so later you will become the reason. If the other situation involves trauma or abuse your gonna need help.
Listening in a reflective mode would help.
Listen carefully it is not your resposibility to make someone else happy. It is their responsibility. Make a habit of that kind of thinking and a hard rain is going to fall, from just below your forhead.

Love her, comfort her is she feels like crying, caress her when shes on your shoulder. The best thing in the world is to have a supportive man by your side when the going gets tough. Your a lovely guy for still loving her through these hard times in her life. Right now she is not emotionally or mentally stable enough to truly appreciate you but when she picks herself up again I am sure you'll two will have a love like no other. Stick in for a while longer, now if she never seeks help, or she just doesn't seem more optimistic, then I guess there nothing you can do but make yourself happy and find someone with less drama. But really try helping, stick in for a while longer it may be very rewarding!!!

If you love her as much as you say you do, you need to be there for her. Understand that she is going through this and only time will better the situation. What she needs is your support. Know that she may not want to talk about her problem, so don't be surprised if she is quiet a lot of the time. Depression is hard to deal with, whether you're going through it or a loved one is. But it's always easier when you have someone near by who you know cares for you deeply.

Hell to the naw!!! Time waits for no one. You continue on with life. Do u and be who u are. Dont allow anyone to stagnate you or prevent you from moving forward in living life and enjoying every moment of it. If at some point you run into her down along the way and you guys reconnect and things are flowing naturally and IMPORTANT: if its a healthy situation, then cool...flow wit dat. But you should not place your life on hold for anyone. Time passes too quickly and life my friend is too short....
Enjoy it....

Yea I think yous hould just wait and try to make her feel loved. Some people just dont like to complain and they seem a lil down sometimes but it probably has nothing to do with you. If she says she loves you believe her.

It's prolly something that you need to let her deal with on her own and work through it. The only thing that you can do is to be there for her. You need to stop being so selfish and wondering how she feels about you, you can deal with that later.

Try to help, but don't interfere. Be by her in rough times, but don't disturb him. You will see what will your relationship be after she gets over her problems. No friendship is meant for just good and happy times. It is meant for all times!
