I am a gay 26 year old gay male and my best guy friend is a 29 year old 'straight' indie rocker. However, even he will admit he's the 'gayest' straight man any of us knows. While I've tried to convince myself there will probably never be anything romantic between us, I still feel very close to him- like he's the brother I never had. However, I also find myself very emotionally attached to him and very hurt by him by some of the things he says and does. Lately, I've even thought of ending out many year friendship over this, because I'm afraid I'll never be able to see things in the proportion that he sees them when it comes to our relationship. Should I expect him to be more sensitive? Should I adjust my expectations? Am I going crazy over nothing? WHAT DO I DO?!?

My friend has had an affair w/ a man that is married ..they have been friends and his wife knew about their friendship..it turned into one of those sexual attractions one that would be nothing but sex.he was so nice and friendly she had a good time then all of a sudden she felt left alone.when asked he said his wife dont like him having woman friends . now he stays at a distance but wont really say much to her he just avoids her for the most part?she thinks he should at least take the time to talk to her .Could it be she feels rejected?

I m 19 yrs old n i m one of 6 sisters. I have a wonderful mother who holds the world on her sholders. My father on the other hand is n alcoholic. Its gotton worse since ive gotton older. I do not live at home but my mother n 2 younger sisters do. My father is n angry drunk by the way. (Very angry) I keep going ovr my moms house 2 visit and i guess try 2 make things work. But its not happening. My dad is always drunk. He sleeps on the couch and no1 talks 2 him but me i guess when i go ovr. Well i try to talk to him about my life n he just nods his hed. He doesnt care. My 2 younger sisters always call me telling me what kind of mean things he says 2 them n how he treats my mom. I want 2 just delete everyone from my life n move on. I live with my bf n i get so stressed out from my family problems at my moms house that i have bad moods swings twards my boyfriend n i know thats wrong. I need 2 get on some depression meds. But in the mean time can sum1 help me deal with this? Please

I don't have a good relationship w/ my parents, for a year I've been extremely resentful. They were too harsh on me cause I was somewhat lost and I could never get over. I respect them and I'm polite, but very distant, avoid talking to them. People consider me a good girl and praise my parents. I avoid talking about my problems w/ them but those who know can't understand how someone like me can be so resentful. Sometimes they try to force a situation for us to make up and this drives me terribly upset. I take part in volunteering acticities with children and the lady who manages it likes me really much. Next weekend there'll be a party with the presence of teens and their parents and on such events parents usually hug their kids. She invited mine and says it's a great opportunity for reconciliation, wants to see me and my parents hug. I think I wont go to the party, or I'll live a kinda sad and emotionally devastating situation. But if I dont go I'll hurt the children I deal with.

Well ive been dating this guy for the past 4 months or so.. i found out about a month and a half ago that his ex fiancé is 7 months preg. Im trying to deal with this the best i can.. i dont really want to leave him.. but something tells me i should. Ive talked to the ex a few times and she knows we are together.. she still loves him and it breaks my heart.. i feel so bad for her. My husband and i have been married for almost 20 years, and just had a baby. He has become very sarcastic, and mean towards me. Its like I can't do anything right anymore. I am having the hardest time with my 5 year old daughter. It seems like a constant battle with her from the moment the sun comes up to the moment that it goes down.
