Hmmm.. Having a 'hickey' in plain view, can be both embarrassing, and lead to jokes about your sex life. While it may be 'fun' to get one, removing a hickey needs some expert help. The tooth brush method described below will hopefully help you reduce the contrast of your hickey within the hour!

Steps
First method
Lightly brush the spot with a stiff-bristled toothbrush. Doing this breaks up the blood clot and gets circulation going again.
The redness will spread, but will be less obvious after about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, make sure to cool it down with a bit of ice. Repeat if necessary.
Finish off the small pink spot that remains with make up: put eyeshadow that matches your skin tone, to the spot and cover the rest (with the hickey too) with concealer. No one will ever notice!
Second method
Use the toothbrush (toothpaste will not help, though). This loosens up the blood in the bruise.
Add heat. Use a washcloth run under hot water and wrung out.
Use the toothbrush again.
Sooth your skin for a few minutes with an ice cube (wrap in something like a paper towel).
This is the clincher: Arnica gel. It's a natural herbal product that really helps eliminate any kind of bruise. It's usually clear and can go under any kind of make up you might want to use. Hope that helps!!! And kiss away!

Tips
In the future, get and give hickeys where they won't be easily found -- or don't get one at all!
Soak the washcloth in hot water- as hot as your neck (or whatever got sucked) can handle. Some heat the washcloth in a microwave, but this might be dangerous. Massage the affected area for 20 minutes with the heated washcloth, and the spot will begin to fade.

Things You'll Need
Toothbrush-
Eyeshadow of your skin tone
Concealer

Hiridoid ointment or other cream that is used to remove bruises. Ice might help but the best thing is cover with make up, or a scarf. Or you can wear a bandaid over it and pretend you had a bad insect bight!

I don't know. I just try to cover it with makeup. That's all I can think of right now.
