My boyfriend just broke up with me Thursday. We had been going out for a year, but we have known each other for a very long time (can't really say how long). I have liked him for almost the whole time. It started as puppy dog love and turned out to be love that lasts forever. But now forever is over. I have to get over him, actually I need to get over him but each day it just gets worse. How do can I get over him?

Someone close to me is quite manipulative. For so long I was a doormat b/c I lacked confidence in myself. Only recently have I become aware of the techniques my mate uses to manipulate people to get his way. He'll dismiss my concerns when I bring them up, he'll punish the relationship by not inviting me out when I disagree with him, he'll make decisions that affect us both w/o discussing with me first and then later bring it up and insinuate I had agreed to the decision. He'll blatantly try rewriting history during disagreements as a way to manipulate me.

Every issue becomes a big issue b/c his lying about small issues makes me feel disrespected. I try to stand up for myself on all issues, but there are some issues that just don't seem worth the effort and so I just give in. What should my next step be? Some psych book I read said it's better to maintain relationships and grow myself, but not end relationships completely.

My wife smokes alot, and it is hard for me to get excited when I smell the smoke from her while in bed. We have separate bedrooms and she tells me that she does not need sex, that she can live without it. How many other couples have this problem, and what have you done to solve it.

I'm now married for 2 yrs. Had my baby girl just 9 months after marriage but dont feel the intimacy with my hubby, we had arranged marriage. he had a Girlfriend for 4 yrs before marrying me. I always feel he has enjoyed his youth but i waited for the same to enjoy all after marriage but now i have nothing but responsibilities....caring for his baby and his family. We don't feel attracted towards eachother. Don't have anything to talk bout but just work and home and baby. We live like old couple. What should i do sometimes i feel like starting an extra maritial affair but not sure if i will be doing justice to my baby if i do it . Am i being selfish? don't know what to say to my hubby, i feel he misses his Girl though he doesn't mention but he is quite most of the time.
