I am a single career woman with no kids. I am getting married next month with a wonderful man, who happens to be divorced with 2 children, alimony, child support and an ex who says she doesn't want to work.
I own my house and have some investments. My only concern is to protect the assets from the ex, not from my future hubby.
We are going to have a Prenuptial Agreement. But is this enough? My concern is that the ex will claim she deserves some of the profit from my investments in the future.
Anyone with experience can share their views? Thank you

I really want to make new friends in highschool because whenever I hang out with the friends I have now, I never have that much fun. I try to be fun and make conversation, but I don't feel like they do the same. Oh yeah and I'm also trying to eat healthy which is really hard to do when I'm with them since all they do is eat junk like 24/7 & if I do order something healthy or small I think they talk about me and think im trying to lose weight, when all im trying to do is not fill my body with all the crap because it makes me feel sick.

my x and i have been together for about 5 years now. he lives down the street from me and his family loves me to death. He has bought me a promise ring, but now he says that he dont really know what he wants. He says he wants to meet new people and date others, but in the end he wants to be with me. Should i wait for him until he's done dating or should i try to find someone else. Remember we been together for 5 years and now he is saying this to me. I've been through counselors and doctors about this but i am still too attached to someone i have deep feelings for in my heart.

I am 28 and have been married for 9 yr. My husband and I have three kids, but sadly I am not happy. For the past 3 yrs my feeling have changed for him. He is not affectionate... he does work long hours.... and he has a drinking problem..... so this combined has made it extremely hard to be close. I do care for him dearly..... but I know that I do not love him how I once did. I do want to seperate but am just scared shitless!! Mainly because of the hurt it will cause our family. I am not sure if he will be able to go thru this or his will he just drink more?? Should I just stay together for the kids?? OR do I walk away now and maybe one day find someone else?? Things have got so bad that when he touches me I feel ill....is it possiable to get over this ???

My best friend wont talk to me anymore and I dont know why, it has been a few months since i ve seen or talked to her, and it bothers me why she doesnt talk to me, she used to live with me but she brought a guy over that she met off of the internet and my dad found out and got upset, but all he said was never again, but my little sister who didnt live with us didnt want her there any more. And one night she left. She told me where she was going and that she would call me, I asked her if she was sure, and if thats what was best for her...she said yes...i cried and we hugged as she left...she told me she would call and she never did. I am a girl, and she is the only girl i can say that i loved...and i am not homosexual.... but it hurts and it aggravating....

I'm trying to be a cool g/f and be excited for him, and the fact that one of his good friends is moving here but I can't. She is moving here mainly to snowboard (and she is very good at it) and my boyfriend's passion is snowboarding. OK! I like this guy named Keshuon me and him are going out but i just find out that this other girl is still going out with him. My bf and I have been going through this dilema for about the past week. Where he wants to move to NC at first he said he wanted me to go, but not right when he went because he didnt want to wait two months for me to go because of job, bills, etc related things. There is no reason for him to go so soon, NONE. He could wait for me, he just said he didnt want to. Then after an argument a day later he turned to me in the car and said he wanted me to go with him because he would miss me way to much and that he loves me. Last night he was talking about moving to a smaller apartment for now, and I thought it was because we could save more money to go together, then I find out today, its so he can get his deposit for the apartment to take with him. Now hes saying he never wanted me to go at all, telling me he only said he wanted me to go so I wouldnt b%^ch at him before going. He seems to switch to me not wanting to go when we argue, when we are fine again, he wants me to go. Wtf is going on?
