I really want to make new friends in highschool because whenever I hang out with the friends I have now, I never have that much fun. I try to be fun and make conversation, but I don't feel like they do the same. Oh yeah and I'm also trying to eat healthy which is really hard to do when I'm with them since all they do is eat junk like 24/7 & if I do order something healthy or small I think they talk about me and think im trying to lose weight, when all im trying to do is not fill my body with all the crap because it makes me feel sick.

Oh, honey, it's going to be OK. I think everyone's been there at some time or another.
Life's too short to settle for being around people who aren't fantastic, and I promise you that those people ARE out there for you. Sometimes it just takes a while to find them!
Why don't you ask your one close friend if she can maybe introduce you to the people she/he hangs out with? That might be an easy in to a good group. Also, you could try getting into some school clubs, or even rethink some of your classes. If you're into getting healthy (MAJOR kudos on that!), try a dance class. I took one in high school for exercise, and it ended up not only being a blast, but I also found some great friends there.
Good luck, and you've got your head on straight!

Well honey, there is always time for change! You sound like you are making good and healthy choices for you and your "so called friends" don't support those choices. It's ok to hang by yourself for awhile too, until you meet some people that are a little more on your level! This friend that doesn't hang with the same people, would it be so hard to talk to her about how you feel? Maybe she would invite you to hang out with her "crew" if you don't feel comfortable inviting yourself in.
Keep in mind that you are young still and there will be plenty of people in and out of your life! You sound to me like a strong and level headed girl, so just keep your chin up! Stay happy! Make healthy choices and life will work out for you the way it's supposed to!! :)
Good luck with EVERYTHING that you do! :)

It's hard to ditch your old group and make new friends. But if it's what you want to do, go for it or you'll regret it forever.
Maybe you can slowly start to hang out with other people - like one weekend night hang with the old crowd, one with the new. Eventually, make a standing once-a-month dinner plan, or once-a-week lunch plan. Don't just drop your old friends - you probably have fun memories with them and you don't need enemies.
As for eating, good for you! Keep it up no matter what they say. They'll regret the junkfood in a few years. I promise!! If you get fed up, say something - you aren't making comments about their choices, why should they comment on your choices?

Yea I know what you mean the friends I had I did not like hanging with them I was like why can't there be anyone better? But now I do not have any friends so I suggest you suck it up if you don't want to be alone or just at least try your hardest to make new friends I do not have that luxury but maybe you do, go make new friends!!
I hate food, become a vegetarian they have good bocca and garden burgers and salads and fruit are good you can do that or go to a nutritionist

Then make some new friends! It sounds like you may be maturing just a little faster than your other friends by wanting to eat healthier and keep your body in shape. High school should be one of the happiest times of your life. Have fun! I hope this helps.

Only you can do something about this. Try to make conversation with the kind of people you like to hang out with. Go sit with them at lunch. Walk home with them after school etc.
If you want to have friends you have to be friendly.....

There's nothing wrong with making new friends in high school. We all go through changes in our lives and friends will come and go. Try to stay connected to them in a friendly way, but move on and enjoy new friendships. You might want to join up with a high school sports team or club - that would be a great way to get a new start. Good luck!

For starters, start hanging out with the one friend who doesn't hang out with the same people as you. Get in with her crowd.
Another good way to make friends is to join an activity that interests you but that your friends aren't in. Or, start up conversations in classes with people who look like they have the same interests as you.
Be confident, and strike up conversations with people outside your group. If you act confident, people will take you more seriously. Good luck!!

So, stop hanging around with them and meet new people. That's what High School is all about. Oh, and education too. Almost forgot the education.
