The truth is, people, in general are complicated and that's what makes life interesting and sometimes challenging.

There could be a variety of reasons why your friend decided not to talk to you. It could be that she is acting irresponsibly with meeting guys from the internet and she's afraid of being judged by you or your father so she stays away.

Or, she may have just gotten so involved in it that she has temporarily decided to neglect those most important.....Guys come and go, but good friends last forever. If this is the case, she is making a big mistake.

Maybe she has gotten in trouble with one of her meetings.

Whatever it is, I'm sure you're frustrated, hurt and frightened for her. If you can, send her an email or leave her a voice message on her phone, telling her that you feel hurt by what she is doing to you but that you continue to care for her and you are worried about her. Tell her that you hope that she is being careful with her actions because you care about her welfare. Finally, let her know that, you are still there if she needs you.....if that's the way you feel...or, on the other hand, let her know that, by her actions, she may be making a decision about your friendship that she will later regret....and then, the ball is in her court.

Good luck and focus on good friends and family who are there for you. Those who aren't....see it as their loss....and move on.

All human beings are complicated, being a collection of inputs over a lifetime, of which any may be considered relevant at some point in time. It's just one of the facts of life, and you have to get along with it.

Everyone has their reasons for their actions.

People move on and they may have forgotten or want to forget the past. It hurts but you just have to move on with your life.

Make other friends. Few relationships can last forever.
