Nothing but his share. I tend to go dutch until the relationship turns serious. If the relationship becomes serious then I like to take turns paying for dates. It's only fair...

How much doesnt matter to me. Because it all depends on where you go- the movies dont cost much $, but you take me out to a nice resturaunt and see a show or what not then you will spend quite a bit of $. Just as long as you pay for everything and make her feel like a lady, you'll do fine. At least that is my opinion.

the best kind of dates do not involve spending money at all. You go out in the daytime, pretty place picnic. beach hills and a little cafe or pub tea afterwards
night time dates are for later in a relationship and then the best ones do not cost money
special take out to eat at home, good dvd really good bottle of wine (maybe two ) and a nice sofa to crash on until the wine wears off and you can either take her home or if you get lucky ----take her to bed If she is a nice girl she does not want you to spend your money , Restaurant dining is the biggest waste of the lot.
Remember you cannot have a drink if you are driving home afterward so it is always better to drink within 20 feet of your bed!!!!!!!

It is not how much they spend on you, it is the effection involved in the spending. I would rather take a walk and go eat at a hamburger stand with someone that really respects, honors and appreciates me than be picked up in a Limo and taken to a fine restuarant by a male chovanist pig..... (smile)

Personally if I date it is 50/50. Also on the first date I definitely pick up the tab. Men deserve not to pay every time. I am dating one man exclusively. I keep it 50/50. I figure if I care about him then why would I not pay my share. Every man really appreciates my attitude. I think to expect men to always pay is selfish and wrong.

well bro. it dosent matter were you go or what you do OR how much you spend as long as your with a person you like. its the time you spend together weather its a fancy resturant or a pub OR just a nice walk. if she likes you then let her get to know you. dont try to show off. she wont be impressed. UNLESS she is a gold digger & thats all she is there for. SO weather your rich or poor just be nice. if she is more interested in your wallet then send her on her way shes not for you.

It all depends where we go, and what we do of course. you answered your own question HA. You do expect a certain amount because if he likes you and wants to impress you especially on the first date, it tells alot.. more important, how he acts toward you and all the above

Honestly it isn't the amount of money it's the amount of effort a man puts into a date. I would much rather do something free that is fun and romantic then do something boring and costly. I have my own money, I don't need or want a man for that.

I bring money for back up but he never knows,
As much as he desires,
If he plans it then he is responsible for the bill,if we plan it then we go halfers.
If I know it will be to costly then we can always change plans
Average for us is around $150. once a month
It really depends on what we do.

No offense taken. My date usually spends about $100.00 on an evening out. I offer to share the cost, but he says No Way!
