Someone told me they thought this guy has mixed feelings for me. It's not someone I'm dating. He's flirted with me but then he'll totally ignore me. She said she thought he has mixed feelings and doesn't know what he wants. I just want some opinions on what this means. Does it mean he's just not that attracted to me?

Are there strict Southern rules? For instance...when we first moved here a month ago everyone was so warm and friendly and acted like they wanted to get to know me better. I thought I was doing the right thing when I "accepted" and started to let them get to know more about me. I'm a conservative Christian, single Mom and have tried to not overdo it. But, they asked for more information about me and now it seems as if I have overstepped my boundaries and offended. I mean, there's not much to tell. I'm a single Mom and have a son with a medical problem-needed better medical care so we are here. It seems my northern friends who have moved here have no problem with this and we are all doing fine together. Have I done something wrong? Does "we'd like to get to know you better" not literally mean that down here? I want to make friends, not enemies. I love it here, my Dad is from here and I intend to stay. Thanks for your help, everyone.

I love my mum very much but she can be bossy, controlling, condisending and nasty. My daughter is just 16 and just lately I cannot do anything right the more I try the more I feel I sound like my mother, though I really dont want to. How can you love your kids too much? and how can you watch and let them make mistakes just because they have told you its none of your buisness? How can I let go so it wont hurt, wont cause conflict and wont keep me up till past midnight with worry. I have the feeling I know what the answer is going to be, but I will give anything a try.

we've been going out for 2 years, and I give her oral sex almost every time we swank, but she hasn't given me any for months, she says it makes her feel dirty. She said she doesn't like the taste so I got some very tasty flavored ones but she doesn't like the idea. I dont want to get mad and say that it's unfair because its so trivial but what can I do to get her interested?

My best friend (a girl) and I have been close friends for 2 years now. Practically doing everything together, never seperated. Until recently when she has met this guy and started seeing him. I am now starting to feel left out, and she does not spend as much time with me anymore. When I do see her she is with this guy, and I can't even speak to her on the phone without this guy talking in the background. I have tried speaking to her about it, but whenever I do she takes it badly and starts arguing with me. She keeps telling me that the friendship is changing but it won't affect it much. But it is affecting it quite drastically actually. I am very jealous and angry with their relationship getting in the way of our friendship and now feel really lonely and upset.
Is it best to let her get on with this and leave her be, and let her go, and she may come to her senses in the coming week or run the risk that she may not or try and work things out, but how?

My friend of 7 years got married a year ago and now she constantly complains to me about her husband and her marriage. I have never been married, but I have had long-term-relationships. I find that her problems are very typical to LTRs and she is in constant panic mode and can't deal with even the smallest problems in her marriage.

She tells me about she and her husband's most intimate problems, and she completely disregards me when I tell her I don't want to hear it and just tells me anyway. Then she will find ways to bring it up in front of her husband to let him know that she has told me all about their personal problems.

I feel that she is being disrespectful to her husband and disrespectful to me when she does this. I absolutely HATE it and the position it puts me in in regard to their marriage. I feel like a third person in their marriage sometimes and I don't want to!!

I think she has exploited our friendship and don't know how to tell her I am unwilling to be her confidante.

my husband and i have been married for 18 years now. And for past five years, my husband has been very stubborn about his feet and toes. For example, he refuses to take my advice and trim his toenails every so often (not to say they are super long or whatnot), but still. I mean my husband and I enjoy having me rub and play around with my hubby's feet and toes during our intimate evenings..I do find his feet a bit rugged and manly, but his toenails are getting a bit long for me to enjoy our "intimate times". how must we solve this on-going dilemma of ours?
