How long did you have to wait? What circumstances were keeping you apart? Did you ever think about giving up and what made you hang on?

well if you really love this person than you wouldnt even be considering a length of time, time would have no meaning.

well i love my man alot and we r planning on getting married but i have to wait at least till next year so he could get some money u know work and those stuff the house and the...now im in venezuela and he´s in brazil so im waiting and i dont mind waiting for another 5 years if it takes that much to finally be together...i dunno depends on how much u love him...we r in different worlds and we still love each other like crazy and cant wait to be together forever...and im not thinking on giving up as long as he loves me and wants me too, its a fight of 2. and the thing making me hang on is his love and ofcourse communication is very important..we talk twice a day on the phone and we email each other alllll the time...

If its definatly the one you love, time will only make things better.. my husband is in the military and just came home from a 14 month deployment. in that 14 months i talked to him maybe 2x a week if i was lucky..i never knew wat to expect and was nervous everytime time the phone rang. When he got home i was very nervous 14 months is a long time to be away and we hadnt even been together for our 1st anniversary christmas nothing, we made it and now i know that the longer were apart it just makes up appreciate each other more.

I waited almost 4 years to finally date the guy i wanted. I did think about giving up but i loved him too much to give up.

I waited 18 months to be with my husband again. he was serving in the Iraq war. I never thought once about giving up for there was nothing I was enduring that could even compare to what he was enduring. He needed my love and support to get through what it was he was going through. I was here waiting the whole time.

i guess it depends how much u love each other and how old u r

if u've been together for a while and hes going to war i would wait

if u just meet 6 months ago and hes going 2 study abroad 4 two years i wouldnt

I would wait as long as I had to Iv'e done it before because he was defending his country.So I waited on my soldier as long as it took.
