We love each other very much, but I know I am the only reason keeping him here. I don't want him to miss a good opportunity. I also don't want to put any pressure on him or us about the future, for example: marriage. I don't want to hurry into something that we aren't ready for. I guess I don't want to lose him. He told me that he can't imagine being with anyone else and I feel the same way. Why do I feel so bad that I am the one that would hold him back. I told him to take a good opportunity. He still doesn't know. I know in my heart it is because of me. What would you do?

im young,intelligent and pretty,im educated,strong-minded,white and muslim. i fall in love to a 17 years older blak man who is not rich, and hav a 7 years old daughter from a x-girlfriend.he is african american and i never hav been in the USA. he is much taller then me, and dont know my native language,so i hav to speak english wit him,but my english isnt fluent. he is a good man,and want to marry me. he comes from Harlem and had a bad bakground,but i love him.we text,email,chat wit eachother everyday. am i an idiot??
i hv no child,im 22. i fall in love to his heart, i like his ideas, and his voice turns me on. he isa big blak man,and i like that. he is positive to me..YES,we met online,and thats y we both dont trust eachother 100%. we both r not weak-minded ppl, but love happen. Everything at him attracted me. i want only him. we know each other since Dec-2005. he sent me a few pics of his child. he send me pics of his house. i dont think he lies.

It seems like every one i let in my life and trust **** me over and now i cant trust anybody and everybody let me down in tha past 6 months when my ex broke up with me. they werent there for me no one was but myself. Now that ive built walls up to keep people out how do i get to that place were i can trust people again? Its like I forgot how ta trust. Am i just ****** or is there some kinda solution?

in life you either take it or leave it no in between but love its hard. to tell yourself that you might have to let that person that means everything to you go its hard its torture to even think of it.

its not his decision its mine but i dont know if to do it or not, we have been through some hard times its more like he has money problems but i have been waiting for so long that my hopes for our happiness arent as high as they where a yr ago.

i love him and i know it and i also know he loves me but about a yr ago he started smoking weed. now he doesnt care about anything and his life is a total wreck i cant get him to understand that that drug is holding him back.

he says its not true and doesnt realize that hes is so close to losing me. what should i do stay and help him? or leave? i really love him but that drug is destroying us and i dont think hes going to leave it any time soon

im 20 hes 21 2yr relationship

I am getting married on September 23rd of this year. We are on a tight budget and are looking for ideas on how to have a nice wedding without spending a fortune. We are doing everything ourselves. Outdoor wedding will be nearly impossible as we live in Louisiana and we have horrible weather year round basically. Just any ideas on decor, food, etc. etc. would be great. It’s our first marriage so we don’t even know where to begin.

It will be a year in November that my parents are divorced. They were married for 31 years! They each have a "friend" now. My fiance' and I are getting married in November. Through all of the wedding planning, my Mom's really not there like she could be. She's always giving her full attention to her new "friend." Our whole family has noticed it, well I got the balls to stand up to her and confront her about it. She started crying and accused me of not being happy for her. It's not that I'm not happy for her, I just wish she would still step in for the "mother" position and be there-especially at this point-. I'm the baby of the family...to me she would want to be there all the time, shopping, picking out things, decorations, etc. She barely makes time for it. When we had our little spat, she told her "friend" about it and he suggested not coming to the wedding if it was going to cause a mess like this. It hurt my feelings...was I wrong for confronting her about it?

i was in a long distance relationship for about 7-8 years, the last few years has been alittle fustrating and alot of things happening to us in our personal lives which made alot of things fustrating. about 2-3 months ago she really wasnt talking to me much and seemed to be always mad at me. she broke up with me at that time. she doesnt call me much, but whenever i see her online we communicate. since the break up, we really havent been talking much, but the last few times i have seen her online we have started communicating some. before she wouldnt even talk to me online, but now she seems to be talking to me more and more. not hrs of communication, none the less, she communicating with me. last night for a example, she was going to bed and she wished me a good night. she hasnt done that in awhile. i told her i hoped to talk to her soon and she said ok. i care for her and i think she still care for me. did she just need some time of from the stress of our situation??...what ya think
