I find this to be very disrespectful. It seems that after a certain period of time in a relationship, a person would stop receiving or making those calls due to his/her respect for the other person in the relationship. Am I just jealous or do I have a legitamate point?

I have alot of guy friends and i'm in a relationship. My boyfriend knows he can trust me....I was friends with these people before we met....you said "after a certain time" you expected the calls to stop...but why should they?...to soothe your insecurities? thats unfair if that is the case. If she has given you reasons not to trust her, or she's flirty with them...then you have a point...or if she feels she has to leave the room or comes across secretive...again I would say you have a point. one of my guy friends called me last night at 12:00 midnight....he was a total wreck over his dying dad and I was there for him to vent his frustrations....that's what friends do...male or female. Hope this was helpful....good luck to you, I sincerely wish you all the best! :)

If this person had these friends before you and it is clear they are only friends, then there is nothing wrong with it. Trust is an important part of a relationship, unless your partner has proved to be untrustworthy having male or female friendships is actually healthy. I will dump a woman in a heartbeat if they tell me I can not have my friends because of their own insecurities. My friends are important to me, that doesn't mean they have more priority than a committed partner, but they are important.

It really depends what they are talking about. If in fact they are only friends and have been for quite some time, I don't see the problem. This is where trust comes into the relationship.

it is kind of wrong to be talking on the phone with someone late at night when you are going out with someone. but they are probably just good freinds and talk a lot. but if that person cares about you, they would notice that you dont like that and will eventully stop.

You are fine, they are your friends not your boyfriends. Unless you are taking dirty w/ them. Then we have a problem.
