is it rude to ask family members to help pay for our wedding? If not how do you ask? We are tight on our fiances and want to have a nice wedding/family reunion. I just don't want to come out rude.

Ok I know this is going to sound stupid, my ex boyfriend who wants to get back with me and start a life together says in order to do that i have to respect his rules and wishes i understand about compromise and give and take but why does this sound like a dictatorship to me? one rule is no low shirts he doesn't really like make up and when i "do" where it i am always tasteful about it it sounds like to me he has low self esteem he says no all his ex's cheated on him well so did mine but if this one is gonna do it i am just gone his loss. any woman out there who are dealing or have dealt with it should i just listen to him- do you want low shirts or love? I am also very independant and really have a problem with men tellin me what to do or how to do it. He says i don't love him cause i don't always take his advice. What to do??

broke up with my ex 7 years ago...and im still thinking about him everyday for the past 7 years. I didnt date anyone after he left. he was my first love. we still keep in touch with e-mails. he did call me twice this year. he even asked me when im gonna get married. tats really hurt me. he knows tat im single till today. few years back when i wanna talk it out he refused. said past is past. When he called he asked hows my parents is doing? advised not to fight with my sis and asked me to keep in touch since he was leaving to another country for work. It's not tat i want him back. i want him to have the best in his life. He' the only man who ever loved me so much. i dont know wat went wrong. cant get an explanation from him. And i just want to forgive myself for loving him too much and let him go. i still keep all the things tat he gave me. i dont know whether he still loves me or not? y he have to call me after 7 years? its too painful to continue my life...

My husband works long hours all the time. I mean, i call him at work and he calls me all the time so i know hes there, but hes always working. I keep asking him why. He says to pay the bills. Well, the cell phone got cut off today along with the cable. Other then that, we dont have that many bills. We make so much $ and i give him a lot of extra money so he'll put it in our savings. He hasnt been saving the whole time. Last night, when he got home, i dressed up for him and did a strip tease and he just picked a fight for no reason & went to bed. What do u think could be going on? Im so upset. He used to have a gambling problem years ago. When i ask him, he treats me like im a stupid child and doesnt take me seriously. I guess cause i keep talking about it & asking him. He'll roll his eyes and put the balame on me. He makes tips so i dont know what he does with his money, Only his actual paychecks. Help! He never takes me seriously!

It would seem a given in our present culture, to play 'fast and loose' when casually dating, but then end up broken hearted when the outcome is only sexual usury.
My question is, why would anyone believe there is a chance for a long-term relationship with someone who is clearly an 'anybodies'?
Why would someone wish to wed a person who passes themselves around like a dog in heat? When has intimacy become nothing more than recreation between strangers?

We have been together for 9 months. I have grown to love her greatly. She has severe pms affects. When its pms time, she hates men, cuts them down, and whats worse she includes me. She will find anything to use against me. She ends our relationship. 9 times in 9 months. When the period is gone she loves me again. Se wants to marry me. Does she really mean the mean things she says to me. Cuts me down, big time. But then loves me again after the period.

we became friends 4 yrs ago at work, i left that company after 2 yrs of being friends and she would come over every night after work and we would spend almost every day together. i rarely had time to spend with my other friends and family, i was always with her. i didn't mind because i considered her my best friend. now my other friends have moved on...they are still my friends but have other things in their lives now besides me. my best friend now has a male friend {not a boyfriend} that she wants to spend time with, which is fine, i even offered to sit with her child for her. She now thinks i don't want her to have other friends because i'm always around and want to do things with her. her birthday was a couple of months ago and i suggested we do something, she refused my offer and said she wanted to be alone with her daughter. no problem, however i found out her other friend was going over for her birthday. i said something,she got mad at me...now won't talk to me.

should i be concrened about my friend? i have a friend who is 14, and she goes camping at the same place and sees the same people every year. she just came back and she was telling me about this guy who is 19, and they have known each other forever practically. but she said that this year things got weird between them. they call each other "brother and sister" because they are so close. but this year my friend told me that he gave her a back massage and stuff and they were always hugging and holding hands. and then we were iming him online and he said some kinda weird things to her. then we looked at his myspace and everything on his myspace was about her. it was strange. i even read an email from him to her and it said -from the guy who is waiting for you to grow up..luv ya..blah blah blah..they always say they love each other. i asked my friend if she does and she says she soesnt know. it's really obvious he likes her. i have never met him though. my friend's mom seems concerned sho

We have been married for 7 years now. And I have had doubts from day one. We have one child he is almost 5. I know that I love him, but I am not sure that I am in love with him. As dumb as that may sound it makes sense to me. I know that I married him because he made me feel safe and secure, and I didn't think anyone else would ever be interested in me and I didn't want to be alone. I know now that this is not a reason to marry someone. The worst part is that he really doesn't have any idea how miserable I am. He thinks everything is perfect. But everyday, I fell more and more unhappy and trapped here. How do I tell him? He is good man. He has his flaws like anyone else, but he is a good man and an amazing father. This will crush him. I just keep telling myself, that I am crazy and I should just be happy and I put myself in this situation so I need to deal with. But...I just don't know what to do....Any advice out there....

Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked. "Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.

"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied

The little boy again counted his coins.

"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies..

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

I was involved with a guy i went to school with for the last 4 years at first we were just fooling around then i developed real feelings for him and i told him how i felt about him. It took him awhile but he eventually admitted he felt the same i was happy of course. He tells me he loves me and he wants to be together then i do not hear from him again. So i called him to see was he alive sure enough he was and i thought that was a cruel thing he did. Then we see each other again and he says the same thing then he diappears on me again that was a year ago i did not call him anymore. because i can't take the merry go round anymore but i think about him all the time i just don't want to contact him and set myself up for another ride by the way he has not bothered to call me either what should i do or how can i move on? I am 32 no children and single any advice would help

I have a brother in law that keeps stealing my video games, now i know that they're just games but ive used my hard earned cash to get them and he takes them and uses them to fund his drug habits, what i'm trying to ask is there some way that i can prove that hes the one taking them cuz they go missing and i never see him leave with them, and i can keep him out of my apartment cuz my girlfriend keeps letting him up. oh and ill just add that hes 18 and already has warrents out for his arrest. so maybe that will inspire some of you out there.
