we became friends 4 yrs ago at work, i left that company after 2 yrs of being friends and she would come over every night after work and we would spend almost every day together. i rarely had time to spend with my other friends and family, i was always with her. i didn't mind because i considered her my best friend. now my other friends have moved on...they are still my friends but have other things in their lives now besides me. my best friend now has a male friend {not a boyfriend} that she wants to spend time with, which is fine, i even offered to sit with her child for her. She now thinks i don't want her to have other friends because i'm always around and want to do things with her. her birthday was a couple of months ago and i suggested we do something, she refused my offer and said she wanted to be alone with her daughter. no problem, however i found out her other friend was going over for her birthday. i said something, she got mad at me...now won't talk to me.

try to talk to your friend to know why, but if getting in touch with her do not work, then try to ask and talk to her other friends, that you know are very close to her.
