I have been dating a guy for almost 5 years. Both of us are recovering alcoholics. I recently found out he has been seen "alot" with another woman in AA for over a year. When I asked him about her, he said he did not know her... that she is just a woman who comes to meetings where he goes sometimes. About an hour later, he said he was her sponsor but that he didn't want me to know. I don't believe him because he lied to me about her. This is not the first time I have caught him in a lie, but he always convinces me that he is trying to change his old alcoholic behavior. I believe in that. But should I believe him?

In AA, it is not recommended for men to sponsor women. But sometimes they do. I am uncomfortable with this. I am told that they are together all the time and now they even work together down on skid row. I have asked him to tell her to get a female sponsor. He says God placed her in his life so he can "help her." I think he is full of it. What do you think?

I was completely in love with this girl. We have so much in common, our lifestyles are the same, we work in the same field, yet she's still in school. It was to be a year on June first. The day before, we discussed separating because she didn't seem happy. The next week she dumped me. It's now a month later...and she's engaged. I've had so many conflicting thoughts that I can't sort them out. How should I truly feel?

**Note: Girls, remember, guys have feelings too. We love, we laugh, we bleed, we cry.

I am 28, have been married five years to a wonderful man, yet I have zero desire for children. I am completely in love with animals, and I love to take care of my pets, but when it comes to kids, I dread the thought of having them. I dread my freedoms being gone forever. I don't get excited around babies, and I don't want to hold or be near everyone's baby. It's not that I hate kids; it's just that I have no maternal instinct when it comes to them. So why do I have such a high maternal instinct for animals but not children? Can anyone else relate?

Ok, I'm really having trouble with this situation. It could be due to my own lack of extensive experience with men(I am 23, dated my x for 4years, then met my current bf we're going on 3 years) My ex was a very nice guy, I was really in love with him in the beginning but slowly got bored, dumped him & met my current bf. I,up until recently, was CRAZY about this guy. Then its like I slowly get bored with him & his little annoying habits become so irratating I go nuts!! We have good chemistry, I love his family, we have made changes for each other, etc. But I feel that theres an important component missing, we dont have very indepth, intelligent conversations. Im not saying hes dumb at all but hes just not that introspective. I'm getting antsy again. I really need advice, are they just not "the one" or is it me? Am I looking for an excuse to run? As much as I LOVE the idea of being married 4ever, I also find the idea TERRIFYING! Please give me your opinions, just no nasty comments please!

I have tried to find some female friends on all sorts of sites but it allways directs me to "find love" etc. I am happly married but really would like to hear from muture female from around the world. I don't wish to pay for this by my credit card as it again always leads to love match. Why females, blokes talk about sex, football and cars where as women do seem to have a broader scale on topics. can you help me, direct me or do you wish to swap emai. let me know.

I am 35 years old and I own my own business. I am married for the 3rd tand we have a 3 year old. I am having so many problems with passing my drivers license test (i don't understand why...lol), and for being a business owner, my work is very hard because I am the "supplier" of the family. Sometimes money comes in great, and other times we are barely making it, and it really stresses me out. I also have a truck that I can't afford to fix b/c I just bought my wife a new car (should I have not done that)? Either way she needed one, but should I have waited until my truck was out of the shop? What can overcome depression in my situation?

Also:

My wife is very loyal and honest to me, but I am always angry towards her. I take my stress out on her when I get home from work. I don't hit or beat her or anything like that, its just verbal. Well she told me she wasn't happy anymore, so the next day I took another lady out on a date (to me and my wife's spot). What does that mean?

It seems like everytime I go to a store or supermarket there is a child screeming, thats not unusal but what is .....Parents who just stand there and look around like it's not happening!!! How can you let your child just scream and not try to comfort them? I would have done anything to stop my children from crying. They don't even pick them up or say whats wrong, NOTHING! I'm a very polite person but I find myself wanting to shake them and say take care of your child!! Is this just happening where I live[northern Illinois ]or has anyone else noticed this?

He has a wonderful 6 yr old little girl that is not at all involved with her mother and I have a 5 yr old little girl that is very involved with her daddy. My boyfriend and I have been dating a short time and feel like marriage may be on the horizon. We just want to know what people think is enough time to be dating someone as a single parent before taking that next step to joining families. Oh yeah, just so you know before answering, our daughters are both of our number one priorities and they love each other very much.

I promise i am 100% absolutely positively NOT racist.
Well, ok, i don't attract ONLY mexicans, but it seems like it. Like i've liked a whole bunch of guys from different races (mexicans included), but the only ones that ask me out, or let me know they like me are mexican or half mexican. Maybe some white guys have liked me, but i never knew it. Is it me? or mexicans in general? i have no idea.

And i'm half filipino and half white (and 100% hot, lol), if that has anything to do with it.

Most of my friends and I included are around the age of 20... Some of us are Virgins. My questions is that How much would you respect some one who decides to be a virgin till marriage? I am not asking about liking, marrying, or stuff like that. I am just asking about respect. Just don't give me a number. Please give me your personal opinions aswell.

A man leaves his wife ten days after major surgery. He leaves her alone to support herself and two children, ages 5 and 2. The wife is unable to lift the 2 year old, and is forced back to work 18 days after surgery, and almost four weeks earlier than her doctor would allow. She manages to do it all alone. A year later when she is laid off of work, she is forced to relocate to nearby state so family can help while she finds another job. The husband then decides she is unfit and TAKES the children. The judge later grants her custody. Years later. Husband has remarried and had a child with a new woman. They separate and he offers to give up the other two children if his current wife will consider reconciliation. She says no, but he still walks away from the children, even signing papers giving up custodial rights. Should this man be allowed to see the children that he effortlessly walked away from without so much as a goodbye?
