I sometimes wonder that same question. I think that is is neither or because everyone is in title to there own opinion, and if both parts can not agree on it, then i think that they both need to step back and put each other in there own shoes. So i would have to say that the only one that is an idiot is the person that can not omit later that they were wrong.

Hey its not you dont worry .Its just the man thing. Men never admit they are wrong in ANYTHING.they like to be treated like royals and they feel we need to accept what they say.Dont worry u are not alone. My husband is like that. But hey its not the my hubby is unique i have seen my FIL ,his BIL act like that too.
Dont think too much what he says becoz ultimately it will bring down our self confidence.

I think it is a man thing. But, not a very good one. They like to be superior in a relationship. If it bothers you that much speak to him about it and the fact the it is hurting your feeling or what ever.

U know what its a man thing, I got the same problem. They alwaus tryin to be right, never wrong, especially in a marriage! Just let it go....
