My spouse was late getting home and he said he had worked late. I found out he had dinner with someone at a local restuarant via someone who saw him there with another woman. I simply asked him who he had dinner with and he said I was accusing him. If it was nothing, why didn't he say that, now I feel like he is cheating on me. We have been married for 4 months

I enjoy pleasing him but I just put too much of my own happiness in what he thinks of me. I give 100% each day & he's generally happy, but even before I met him, he's just been a type A controlling opinionated guy. It makes him who he is & is why he's accomplished so much. He's sweet to me & my daughter but there's always some dissatifaction lurking under the surface. We always have to hear about it despite our best efforts. I'm not going to cater to him anymore...I'll just be the best me I can be and try to please myself. There's got to be a mutual balancing, don't you think? I feel my stress level going down & my self esteem going back up to where it use to be just thinking about it. How can I stick to it and tune him out? Just say, "OK, honey" as his words bounce off that invisible wall I'm slowly slowly building up? Counselling is wasted time...he knows what he knows and he knows just about all.

I have a step daughter, she is 27, she has a daughter who I look after 80% of the time. She has decided to marry someone who won't accept her daughter, only wants her for himself, and has been violent towards her and her daughter. We are totally against this.....I feel she should listen to her daughter who is saying "no, I don't want him to be my new daddy!" If she decides to go through this should I turn my back on them because she has chosen to be with him, or shall I leave my door open for them and pretend everything is alright.

we have this incredible connection and we both know that this type of thing only comes once in a lifetime, but, he doesn't want to give it up because he says it's too strong, yet, he chooses to stay unhappily married. He nearly died last fall because he took an accidental overdose of insulin by inadvertently taking 55 units of fast acting insulin (humalog) instead of 55 units of lantus and she didn't notice he was sweating and gray colored. Her and her husband both live with him and he was laying on the couch dazed and sweating and was way out of it and too confused to do an accucheck. Her husband was drunk and she was too into her self to notice her dad was getting ready to slip into a diabetic coma. This dumb ***** locks the door, so I cant walk into the house. She is so freaking ignorant he could have died and she would have never known the difference. Should I tell her she is a dumb ignorant skank or save it?
My boyfriend is no clean freak, but now he has his own mess plus her mess baby's crappy diapers down the side of the couch, under the kitchen table, behind the dryer, and in the laundry area. She doesn't do dishes. There have been dishes piled up, dirty clothes, sour bottles.
