I live with both my parents and a little brother...My mom goes to work full time and my dad is currently going to college. My dad is a big man and was even bigger a few months ago. He had a gastric bypass surgery and now hes losing weight fast. My dad is the quick temper kind of person whos always speaking whats on his mind. Im only 16 yrs old and I know I need to listen to my parents but sometimes my dad gets a little out of hand. He yells and cusses alot and is constantly disrespecting everyone in the house. I have a tendency to speak back to him. No cussin or anything but sometimes he hurts my feelings so I say things to hurt his. But he usually flips out whenever I say something back. I get a whack sometimes but most the time he grounds me. I do love my dad alot and I know he loves me but he didnt grow up with sucha nice family.I dont think he really knows any better. Everyone just tells me to be quiet, but thats just makes me feel worse.How should I react in a situation like this

He has bad kidney problems, so he takes the pills for pain. He says when he drinks he takes to many and he drinks almost everynight.

OK, my hubby is addicted to pain pills, done the whole rehab thing and now pretty much back where we started. I have 5 young kids, am a stay at home mom and have no access to finances, a control issue with him. I think I am ready to leave but I don't know what to do. I have no family near and no close friends. (He has had me isolated with the exception of HIS family.) Any suggestions?

me and my ex boyfriend (j) have known each other for 3years now. We met at a concert and things just skyrocketed from there. We were just very casual. We meant alot to each other without having the pressures of a relationship. When fondness turned to love about christmas last year we decided to make it official that we were dating. This went on for exactly 1 day shy of 3 months. When we broke up we hardley even spoke and i was so devistated that i had lost him. Then when school let out for the summer we started talking again. Everything was just as if we had never broken up. We still kissed and cuddled like when we were a couple. But we never seemed to be able to talk about our relationship and what went wrong. So i just left it alone. Why spoil having a normal relationship with him. He said i was a really great friend and he loved being around me so i just dealt with that. About a month ago i started talking to another guy and about a week ago we started dating. Jake went buzurk! help
