you are only in control of yourself and you can't force people to do what you would like them to do.you are on the right track & it sounds like you have forgiven yourself.that's great. now this person may not have forgiven you but if you have tried everything this persons nature may be an unforgiving nature which you can't change. i just feel sorry for this person as they are going to go through life getting more and more bitter about wrong doings. please forgive them and keep on being the good person you sound like you are good luck, let it go and have a wonderful life. don't let this one mistake cripple your life

you cant make anyone forgive you...they have to decide when they will forgive you or not..as long as you have sincerely apologized and sought their forgiveness, pretty much there is nothing you can do but wait until they decide to forgive you.

You can't. Once you have said you are sorry, you are done. They don't have to forgive you. It would be better for them if they did, but they are under no obligation to do so.
