He has bad kidney problems, so he takes the pills for pain. He says when he drinks he takes to many and he drinks almost everynight.

if you really like him then try and help him out and get him to stop overdosing cause that can be dangerous
so if you care for him and want him to change then do what you can, otherwise if its not worth it then let him go or at least tell him if he doesn't stop then you will have to break up with him, that will at least let you know if you really does care about you and want to be with you anyways

I know it is hard to be with an addict drug sex pills or what ever addiction it may be the fact that your boyfriend is openinf up to you is a good sign that he relizes he has a problem and in a way is asking for help he needs love understanding patience and he does not need anger put downs or any negativism if you are willing to help him you need to realize it is a difficult but not impossible road please ask your bf to check out NA meetings they are every where or even check out treatment options in patient or out paitent i have been to treatment and go to NA and AA MEETINGS EVERY DAY email me and i can give you more info about addictions jessica_riecken@yahoo.com good luck

Honestly, it depends on how much you love him. Being a guy who came from a bad relationship in the past, I don't believe in breaking up unless you feel there is no other way. But also does he treat you badly because if he does then that would make things alot different.

he has a problem... he needs to get help for it... but he wont until hes ready... you can be there for as much as he lets you, but if you dont feel like you can handle being with a drug addict, then leave...its your choice....
....drug addicts make shi*ty boyfriends, its always the drug first you second...remember that
