There's no reason to feel guilt because you feel obligated to do something you don't want to do...that's silly, and you're going to end up spending most of your life, riddled with guilt. You will be forever asked by family, friends, your teachers, your bosses, your spouse, etc to do things that you aren't going to be crazy about doing...but if ya do them anyway why feel guilty? You should feel proud...proud that you went ahead, in spite of not having the desire to do so (unless they are things you feel are morally wrong).
Guilt is a wasted emotion...if you hurt someone or do something "wrong" then apologize or make things "right"...then, there's no reason for guilt...

Your example is not a "guilt trip" but a conscience. You may not want to do something but you know you should.
A guilt trip is when someone makes you feel guilty for something that it either not your fault or not your responsibility.

Well, just give em a piece of your mind, start asking them things to do nothing out of the ordinary but do what they do, an give a rejection once in a while. I feel the same way sometimes but it always helps to show em what you got an show them how you're being treated if you still feel guilty you shouldn't your doing the right thing...

You will never get over them. You have to quit accepting them.
You absolutely have to convince yourself that it is entirely your choice. You are choosing to feel guilty about these things. You are not responsible for others happiness. You are only responsible for how you respond to their requests and how you feel about your response.
Good Luck!

If you feel guilty, maybe you should do the things they are asking! Are they logical things, like cleaning up after yourself and doing your homework?

you are whats called a "people pleaser" this is one of the symptoms of being a people pleaser is not trying to hurt someones feelings. you are putting others feelings above your own... this is something that will probably require counseling...ultimately, you are going to have to learn to "take your life back"
