How come it seems that mormons get married so fast? I have a friend (20y/o) who knew a guy for 3 weeks and they got engaged then got married in 2 1/2 months. Some get married faster and younger than that.

Why are they like this? Do their marriages really last and if so do they have lots of problems?

I am a stay-at-home mom, and I absolutely hate my husband, there is some bad history (abuse), but every time I feel like I'm ready to divorce, I freak out and stop because of our son. I know I'll never have another child, so he's it, and it scares the hell out of me to lose him even part time. But our home environment is very stressful, with arguments and naming calling (from my husband) what do I do?

i work a full time job, come straight home after picking up our 2 kids from daycare, clean house, cook dinner, plus take care of my sick grandma. He gets to go out after work, party on weekends, basically do whatever he wants with no responsibilities. ive got 2 homes to care of and if im too tired for sex im cheating or if i miss a phone call from him im doing someone else. Why is he so worried about me cheating when im not the one with any free time???

If so- What was your experience?

Mine?- Oh my goodness- I didn't believe it at first, but it has got to be the most depressing, stressful, tiring, and lonely experience I'm going through right now... Any advice on how to stop feeling so lonely? I know he's studying hard- the Bar Exam is in 3 weeks!

I'm not the kind of person that is always looking for attention(I guess that's why I'm feeling this way.) (This has been going on for two years and getting worse now that the Bar is so near.)

For the past 6 years I haven't had any friends. I was in an abusive relationship for over 3 years and he controlled every move I made including not allowing me to have any friends. I left him about three years ago and I'm in a great relationship now and he always tells me to do my own thing and pushes me to acheive my dreams. I'm pretty happy in life with the exception that I have zero friends. I talk to people at work, but it never goes any further. Everyone took off for the long weekend or is out watching fire works and I'm stuck at home writing this with a glass of wine in my hand. I feel like I've forgotten how to make and keep friends and I'm tired of not being able to call anyone except for my bf, mom and the pizza guy.

i like this girl at work (we work at a grocery store in different departments) she hugs me everytime i see her and ill take breaks with her. i think she likes me too. shes mentioned that she has been bi before. i openly stare at her and flirt with her and i feel her flirt with me and she stares at me sometimes too but im not an expert of flirting. when we leave she hugs me and i feel it more than friend hug and she rubs my back. After we hug she'll hold my hand for a second. After our last hug she brought my hand up and kissed it. i gave her my cell number and we were going to make plans but she never called me. she said she visited her mom but had wanted to call me. I go in to see her and cant help to go up to her and chat. sometimes i feel her ignore me. we shared a snack and it was spicy and she made jokes like "u like it hot" and i had sauce between my fingers and i said "yuck" and she goes "what u dont like juices between ur fingers?" is this "friends" talk? or does she like me???

we go to church together every sunday. she doesnt even sit with me sometimes. its just like im with a total stranger. we used to be so close even goin shoppin an visitin each other on the regular. now she says she has no time. she dont even call. i have to do all of that. and listen to this. she wont tlk to me unless i ask something. its like an interview. and it seems like its nothing to her. she does not even call and say when i should get ready for church she sometimes let me wait a whole hour and no call or apology. what should i do about this girl who treats me like crap?

Well, he's 13. And he wants a laptop. He just went to Middle School-7th Grade. He says he gets alot of homework. But we already have a computer. But he says he needs his privacy and that he is old enough. I know I can trust him, he is an "A" student, behaves and is kind to his siblings. But laptops are expensive. He is willing to pay $100-200, though. Should I let him have a laptop? And if yes, can you suggest some good quality yet under $800. Thanks.
