Hey all, I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm 17 years old, and about 5' 6". I have tall brothers, tall grandparents, and short parents. Sadly, I'm (obviously) a lot shorter than most guys, the majority of my friends being 5'10+ minimum. I really like this one girl, but she is maybe one inch taller than me, 5'7". When I hang out w/ her it feels extremely obvious that she is taller than me, and it's all I can think about.

Now I know a lot of girls are attracted to tall men, so am I really at a disadvantage? The girl I like used to like my friend who is like 5'11", so whenever I'm with her all I can think about is wishing I was a bit taller. Someone help me with my paranoia!

LADIES: Ok. My wife likes to go out. Sometimes without me which I'm cool with (even though I worrry) She says that she enjoys meeting new people and having conversations with them. How do I get her to understand that guys just don't want to "talk" and will smile and nod for hours if they think that there is a chance of getting some? I also know that she can , unintentionally, send out the wrong signals to guys. She's not dumb but had limited experience with other men before we were married. of mine just died recently. i owe him a lot for being a one of a kind teacher to me, and a good friend too.
As he was already retired, it got difficult to hook up with him as i was working my butt off these days.
I wasnt able to attend his funeral, for no one was able to inform me, until i called up an officemate/ buddy.
Question: if i bring flowers for him to his grave, would he be able to appreciate my respects to him as a friend???

Okay, so the general consensus says that guys like it when girls approach them. What would be the best thing for a girl to say? For example, you're in a bar, you're playing pool with a few buddies and a good looking girl smiles at you from a table nearby. She comes up to you and says.....? We are both 27, and she said she wanted to be 'friends' only now, but its awkward since we work together. We've been apart for a few months and recently shes been wanting to stay over and spend time together so I gave her a chance, but everytime we start getting intimate she says 'we shouldn't be doing this'. I'm already over her, and I think shes playing with my heart and didn't appreciate me until now since I'm not a part of her life anymore but she wants all the benefits. I don't even pick up her calls and now she wants to make time for me all of a sudden. She even came to my house without even telling me when I finish work at 2am,if I avoid her will she give up, or even want me more? how long will it take? I treated her so good before, and I think she remembers that, but I keep telling her I'm busy so she won't come over anymore.I have to maintain good relations with her only for work purposes.
