Okay, so the general consensus says that guys like it when girls approach them. What would be the best thing for a girl to say? For example, you're in a bar, you're playing pool with a few buddies and a good looking girl smiles at you from a table nearby. She comes up to you and says.....? Seriously, now, no bedroom offers coming from this girl right off the bat. :o)

Thanks for the answers, so far guys and girls. Now, I've just got to get over the nerves and JUST DO IT. Where do guys get the courage to do this all the time? I commend you all for being the brave souls that you are. And, I apologize on behalf of the female gender, for all those girls that have rudely shot you down when you approached them. It'll come back around.

Just so you know, it's not like most guys would mind the bedroom offer coming from a girl right of the bat(LOL..like the Trace Akdins song, Swing batter). It's never happened to most guys...but I think it's safe to say most would jump at the chance to do it.
What to say-Well, it's always good to stroke a guys ego, can't go far wrong with that. Say nice things about him, complement his clothing, hairstyle or smile or whatever. Let him know your single and you like him, drop little hints as to what you'd like to do on a date, and just basically flirt.
If they are playing pool, why not play some pool with them....

Wait for him or his buddy to go get a drink then move in. Lone wolf is easy prey. Walk up and say hi ask if you can join him. ( meanwhile friend sees ya'll talking, will excuse himself so friend has a chance, or stay to try and help friend.) just be you and let it all hang out.( not ALL but don't hide anything bout you) If you want a date then say something about going to get something to eat then ask if he knows anywhere he can take you.

Ok, I realize you asked for guys' opinions, but I just had to offer something....
One of my friend's favorites (and I used a few times in the past) was, "Hi... My name is ______. Can I buy your & your friends a round?"
Not only are you showing interest in him, but you're showing respect to him & his friends by not just butting in and snatching him away.
