A couple we know went to stay at a couples resort in Jamaica and have nothing negative to say about it, they absolutely loved and it and we loved the pictures we saw and the brochures they shared with us. I just wanted to see if anyone else had anything to say about it and/or advise about going.

I recently went on vacation to the Outer Banks and my aunt ruined almost everything. She felt like she was the all-powerful decision maker in the house. Out of 13 people, myself included, she felt like she could control everyone.
She even scolded me for not asking her to go to the bathroom! (That shouldnt have been a problem, as everyone has a bathroom connected to their bedroom in the beach house.) But why does she think I have to get her OK for something as simple as that? My mother even had to remind her that I was not her kid, and afterwards, out of my aunt's earshot, she told me never to act like her. Im wondering why we invited her and her family to come, they are just the same. Why would a grown woman act so immaturely? How can I show her that Im mature enough to make decisions for myself? On top of everything, how can I show her that she doesnt have as much authority as she thinks she does without disrespecting her? Is there any possibiliy of a much needed change of heart?

While searching something I came across articles on white men and Black women. Out and about I see more Black men with white women. Near twenty two to one for each white male/Black female couple.

I wonder why is that? In the Black community I live in there is the the thought Black women/white man, has its roots in slavery. When the massa got tired of his wife because was too old, pregnant, saggy from kids etc, he'd just sneak over to the slave quarters, find him a young fresh one to rape. Why didn't that apply to the Black men choosing the white women? Having the white women, the Black man not only had what the white man has but has taken away from him Also there was the thought, that Black men and women bonded like they do, because they were both treated as second class citizens in a society that was runned mainly by rich caucasian men.

Intelligent thoughts with open-minds, not at pointing fingers at who is a racist and who is more noble earns 10 points.

Here's a question I wouldn't have a clue who to ask. I've got a straight friend who's very attractive (i.e. Brad Pitt) who's constantly readjusting himself, playing with or scratching his balls when he's talking to me. It's very distracting to me, especially since I'm attracted to him (I'm gay). Even though I'm a gay, I generally don't touch my crotch area in public (I do when no one's around). I know he doesn't have crabs or STDs or anything, so what does it mean? Is he coming onto me or something, perhaps unconsciously? I mean, if you're a straight guy, would you be readjusting, scratching and touching your package in front of a gay guy all the time? I mean, I can understand if its once in a blue moon, but all the time? Maybe it's just a nervous habit? Why do so many straight guys do this all the time in front of other people - is it an unconscious suggestive thing, or a way of asserting their masculinity? I'd appreciate your thoughts and insights. Thanks!

My best friend is a guy and I talk to him with just about any problem or delimma thats come up. The thing is..he likes me a lot for more then just a friend. He keeps telling me that girls just look at him as a teddy bear/best friend I don't want to be one of those girls, however, that is all I see him as. I tried to look at him more than a friend too, and I couldn't. We've been friends for a few years now, and I think that if we were going to date, it would of happened already. He knows too that I don't feel that way about him. I feel bad I don't feel differently....

My x husband is a major a** no matter how nice I am he just keeps getting meaner and ruder. He has told my kids that his new girlfriend is going to be their new mommy. and says all kinds of bad things about me to them. He probably thinks that I am doing the same and telling them that my boyfriend will be the new daddy. But I don't, I would never. I have tried talking to him about this. But he just blows it up into a huge arguement and nothing gets solved. I try to be as nice as I can to him and ignore the fact that he utterly hates me. But I'm getting to a point to where I can't stand being nice any more. So I have begun to ignore him and not talk to him and only let him talk to the kids. He has a horrible temper and if I try talking to him again it will just end up in arguement once again. It's really tiring. Please help I need advice what should I do?

Alright. There has been no sex between me and this guy since 2001. I met my husband in 2002. Let's start there.

I met him in 1995. We moved in together in '96, bought a trailer home in '97, were going to get married in '98, but he moved out. We dated on and off for the next three years, wound up being platonic roommates at one point, and he stood up in our wedding in '03.

Since our wedding, he asks us for rides all the time. We were over there nursing his heating problems when it was 30 below zero. He stayed with us when his power was out during a storm. We've taken him food on several occasions.

We've hit some financial difficulties and have resorted to "payday advance." We've had situations where we've borrowed the money from him to make our payments, readvanced, and put the money back in his account almost immediately. He left a message for us saying this this is too much of a hassle for him. How would you respond?

I have left my husband of 30 years because of many reasons including deceiving and lying to me. I feel that our problems are between us and I have kept it that way. He says he wants me to come back but does not even discuss the problems we have with me. He goes around and tells enormous lies to all of our friends and adult children. I have been sitting back watching all this unfold and seeing him get caught in a few lies with our children because he tells lies about them to each other. I feel bad for our children as he is trying to make them take sides and he is hurting them. I feel he even has turned my good friend against me because she avoids me now. I feel there is something very wrong with him as he was not always like this. Do you think it is best for me to continue to keep my mouth shut? because I do not want to hurt anyone and especially our kids...I don't want to put them in the middle even if he says lies about me.
