Just comming over to her, giving her a hug and a kiss, and telling her "Happy Anniversary, Honey" is at times the best way to start off the day. It'll make her smile looking back at you. After that you can play it by ear (so to speak) and just spend a day together doing whatever you wish to do: either it's going out somewhere, or just sitting at home and doing anything that comes to mind.
Just being together on this day as well as many other days is the best gift anyone can ever ask and/or wish for. Knowing that you're together to celebrate your 1st Anniversary is a dream come true in every way to think of and look at :)

1)You could take her on a romantic picnic in a park at sunset.
2)You could take her out to a formal dinner in a nice resturaunt.
3)Give her a bouquet of roses, and on each rose have a little tag that says one thing you like about her.
If it's for a bf/gf relationship, then i suggest you use the first idea. I hope this helps! And congrats on your anniversary!

Tell her how you feel more than once; a nice dinner; massage; being romantic.
