My fiance and I have been together for 5 years, engaged for 5 months. He was married long before meeting me, the marriage lasted shorter than a year. He had a child with this woman who he now has full custody of. During the years everything has been fine with her, no "drama". However there is one thing that bothers me, she still has his last name, and does not want to give it up. Her reasons are that it's too complicated, she's had for a while now, etc. Although it may seem petty, I don't feel right honoring a name that a previous woman had and STILL has. It's not the fact that she had it that bothers me, it's the fact that she doesn't want to give it up. Is that wrong of me? Am I being petty? Is it JUST a name?

i had a best friend we used to share everything but suddenly my friends all started teasing me spreading bad rumors.. so i decided to break my friendship.....i thought tht my best friend is spreading all these rumors..so i left him........for atleast 4 or5 months he tried to talk 2 me bbut i ignored.......then i started missing him ... no one was thr to help me or share my feelings.......i realised i was wrong........but it was too late.....i and my best frnd knew tht we are just frnds nd only frnds............it was really very late.......he used 2 ignore me.always wanted me to remb. how i broke friendship .........now he has a new best frnd .........and i want 2 tell him sorryy ....please tell me wat to do.................pleaase..........

Don't know how to cope anymore. My son (almost 9) lashes out and is mean to boyfriends son, I step in and stop it, but it aways ends up in same situation at one point in day. Tried to explain to boyfriend that he needs to get involved and not make my son feel like outsider so much (boyfriend "deserted us" 2 years ago, so this is starting over for us-my son was very hurt and is mistrustful and angry now). Boyfriends son is extremely challenging-very cute, but very whiney and cries for every single little thing-very tattley also. I am very patient with him, and very supportive also, but I am getting extremely tired of feelng that my boyfriend thinks his son is simply reacting to my son's behavior. My son truly only "picks" on boyfriends son when he has simply had enough of the crying, tattling, and whining. I also don't want my son to be a bully though-I am lost.

Ok! This guy I really like used to not give me the time of day at all! He has not really dated at all and he is 36 years old! When he and I are around we talk all of the time and he even stands near me when we have a conversation! I am afraid of rejection and I am very shy, but on the other hand I really don't know if he is being friendly or if he has mutual feelings back!
