Ok! This guy I really like used to not give me the time of day at all! He has not really dated at all and he is 36 years old! When he and I are around we talk all of the time and he even stands near me when we have a conversation! I am afraid of rejection and I am very shy, but on the other hand I really don't know if he is being friendly or if he has mutual feelings back! How am I really supposed to find out if I am shy and afraid of rejection! I don't want to just come out and say something because I don't want to run him off and think that I am pushing him! what should I do?

Look for clues that will lead you to him liking you and pray to God about it and wait for the answer sure its not a big deal but God answers every ones prays you just have to wait and listen. Say God if he really likes me let him show me that it will be crystal clear to me.

Well, Girl,
Im going through the same thing right now, There is this guy I like alot and when he starts flirting with me it's like I want to push him away. and that is a sign of scared of rejection. Some were in your past you were rejected and I know for a fact I was rejected in my past as well. But Here is what to do. Go in your room sometime or where ever you feel comfotable and pray out to the Lord and ask him to take the root of this rejection out of you so you may go past the past rejection/'s and grab a new clean slate.
It helps alot!!! And as far as this guy, If he keeps talking with you and acting like he is interested in talking to you. Then he is interested in you. Cause someone that is not interested in you would not even give you the time of day. Believe me!!

Let me know when you get a good answer to that. I dont know how old you are but he sounds like an older fellow. I have the same problem. Maybe he is just afraid that you are too young?

well if he is as shy as you and you are the curious one, ask him out to dinner with some friends or something, and then after dinner you can decide how things went and either end it there or continue on your own judgement with how you feel about the situation

bring up a conversation about another man anyone that will make him jealos if he looks sad just ask whats wrong then he will tell you his feeling i hope this works for good luck

well since you two talk alot.. when your standing close just kiss him on the cheek and if he looks at you kiss him on the lips.. it will take it from there and you will start to date.. good luck and best wishes
