Family & Relationships - 21 June 2006

I have been dating this older man ,who is older then my father, I love him very much and it is one of the best and happiest relationships I have had. I have never been more happier in my life. I plan on moving in with him and later marry him. I have tried to talk to my parents and family but they dont approve of me and him. I need help and advice What should I do follow my heart or let him go ? I dont want to hurt my family but I dont want to leave him either. I dont know what to do? My dad thinks im to young and need to live my life and date guys my age , but to me his age doesnt bother me . I love him and he makes me very happy. I know it hurts my dad , Im so confused and sad . It makes me sick to be in this situation I honestly dont know what to do? How can I get my dad to like him and be nice to him? How can I get my dad to be happy for me? I dont want to hide anymore I want to beable to have him be part of my family and my dad to be a part of ours.

Ive gained alot of weight sense I married .. now my marriage feels like its coming to an end ..the husband says i need to lose weight.. he has been really mean about it and now our child tells me im fat and not to eat when i do .. I want to lose the weight and leave him aswell but im scared I wont find neone else ..Im 5 5 190 pounds .. things have gotten pretty bad for me now I wanna lose the weight but im doing it for me i would like to make my marriage work but its hard for me to even have sex with him comfortably now and im not sure i can ever be myself around him again after some of the crewl things he's said and done .. he doesnt like the fact that i wont have sex during day or that i wont let him see my body .. I dunno where to go from here im so confused ? what would you do as a women and for all the men out there what do I need to do to get past all this and make our sex life normal again?

he did it in front of his friends.so i made a scene by yelling back @ him, we wre so immature about the whole thing.and then he speed off to a club with his friends.i was so furious that i started crying...CRYING!..i never cry...
and i called him and said that the whole thing wouldnt havent started if it wasnt for blahblahblah....anyways...he called me back when he got to the club and i picked up and then hung up cus i really didint feel like talking to that SOB
so he called back an hour or so later and i answered bc i had cooled down a little bit...he was still @ the club, and all he was saying was..."i love you so much, i love you i love you i love you, please tell me you want me back"
i was silent the whole phone call.....so he's waiting for me to either call or he told me to email him..but thats bull ****...i dont feel like it.one of my friends says... take him back,yalll love each other.bt the other says... no! dont even answer the phone...
which one should i listen too??

My boyfriend (because of his parent's divorce) thinks that a relationship that has a lot of distance makes it stronger and therefore we dont need to see eachother everyday. I on the other hand, was raised to spend as much time as you can with the one's you love. I am trying patiently to give him time to adapt to the way i feel about wanting to see him, and i have done so also by giving him his space. But while i give him space i feel neglected and unappreciated. I try not to feel that way but sometimes he makes me feel really bad for wanting to spend time with him. He thinks that seeing eachother twice daily is too much and doesnt see the point in spending that much time together. So i need some opinions on how to make this work.
