I hear many women say they were in abusive marriages. did you see the signs he could turn abusive when you were dating? or was it a surprise, did he turn onto jeckyl and hyde after you married? I dont understand how men can beat their wives, if they r supposed to love them. i know abuse is hate not love, so how can a husband who took vows to love u turn into hating their wife, unless they just married the women because she got pregnant.

how bad was the abuse? verbal, physical, often or just when he drank? did he hurt the kids or attempt to?

I have been friends with this girl for almost 20 years. Over the course of these years, she has always pulled out the "I don't want to be your friend anymore" card, waited about 6 months to a year and then came back around...no apology. It has always been over things that really did not matter (i.e. the first time I had sex). This past January I became fed up with her "relationship" she had with her "boyfriend" and vented to my blog. My husband and two friends who knew of the situation had access to the rant. She found out and blew up at me for ranting about her negative bs she told me about her relationship. She got over it till she found out my husband knew what was going on. She told me I had no right telling my husband anything (things that she had even told him) and, once again told me she did not want to be my friend. We are 23 years old and I think it is time she quits the crap before she regrets it. I want to forgive her but I am tired of this. What do you think?

how long before kids meet Dads new girlfriend??
my boyfriend and I have a strange relationship, we've been together for 12 years, 2 kids, in the making of this hysteria, ages 6,12. He's had several others in the mean time, they have ony met 1. (Which turned up to be short term (>6mo.) But I keep taking him back (DR. PHIL???)This time I'm sure we're thru, but how many different chicks do I expose them to, and how long should I wait?? I want to instill good family values. (He's always the cause of the "break-ups")
So, my question is how long before they meet dads new GF???

This person keeps on calling me but their phone number is coming back unknown. They have been doing this for a couple of weeks and it is really starting to freak me out. They will call and as soon as I pick up the phone they hang up. Please tell me what I can do. I can't take this anymore. They won't even say hello.

Some people act as if being single is bad. But right now I like it. Sure I would love a boyfriend to be really close to and hug and share kisses with, but right now I'm cool with being single. I broke up with my first bf a year ago and have been single since then. I like it because I have time to get things done and just hang with my friends. I think right now it's not a good time to have one.. so I really don't want one right now.. is that weird?

Me and my husband have been married for almost 3 years. I'm still good friends with my first love.. I gave everything to him.. my heart soul and body. We were talking about getting back together a few months after our break up. I still love him and I still care about him.. and now he's dating this one girl, and obviously i'm jealous but one day i went over to his house and he was rubbing my shoulders and then he tried to kiss me... I have a friend had an affair, we were never very close, but somehow she chose to tell me, I acted as a good firend and was there for her all the time. The affair didn't work out and she was back to her husband, but since then, I feel she is trying to avoid me, last time I called her, she didn't return my call for a month, I was about to forget, finally she called and told me that the reason she didn't call is because she got fired from work and with her husband 24/7( husband work at home), not convinent to talk. Recently I heard that she got a new job, so I called her again and left a massage, she didn't return my call for two days, I was pissed so I called her today to ask what's going on, she picked up the phone and told me the reason she didn't call is because she is too busy with the new job, is there a thing as too busy to return a phone call? am I too sensitive? is she try to avoid me? if that's the case, i don't want to bother.

At times, she becomes extremely angry when denied her way or she doesn't get something she wants. At other times, she is very sweet. When she is angry, she will yell, scream, and kick. Several times she has hit her mother and even tried to choke her mother. Spankings have not helped this matter, and there is no reasoning with her when she is out of control. When she is calm, she understands that she needs to obey, but she doesn't really seem sorry for her actions. Her parents do not give in to her when she acts this way, but it is very hurtful for them. Any ideas?
