I asked the kid nicely to park at the end of the cul-de-sac and he agreed but then kept parking in front of our house. Asked neighbor nicely to tell the kid to park elsewhere but he refused.

Responses have been great - thanks! It's not just the oil leak in the street but also the fact that I have to come home everyday and see that junk in front of my house!

I suggest dropping a match into the leaking oil and then saying (very innocently) "Whoopsies!"

Ask him nicely again to park elsewhere, tell him that his junky, leaking truck is leaving a stain where he is parking. If he refuses, get his truck towed and bill him for the cost of cleaning up the mess his truck left behind. So much for your neighbor not being neighborly by ignoring your requests for him to park elsewhere. If worse comes to worse, at night go dump some oil on his driveway, see how he likes it.

Unless it's on your personal property, he can park his truck wherever he wants in a public parking place. If it bothers you so much, offer to get his oil leak fixed.

kitty litter works pretty good. You cant really make him park anywhere. If you mess with the truck you could get into trouble and that would be pretty pathetic. Let them see you with some kitty litter. Maybe they will get the hint
