How can I find out who this person is?

This person keeps on calling me but their phone number is coming back unknown. They have been doing this for a couple of weeks and it is really starting to freak me out. They will call and as soon as I pick up the phone they hang up. Please tell me what I can do. I can't take this anymore. They won't even say hello.

Please give me some advice I am really freacked out by this

Report this phone calls to include times and dates to your local phone company to have them trace the call and have the phone company change your number. Also, report this to your local police department as harrassment by telephone and get a police report so that you can give your phone company a copy of the report so that the phone company can trace the call and get this taken care of.....

If this is a land line (home phone) you can call your phone company and tell them that you are having this call, and they can put a trace on your phone and when they call the phone company will trace the call and be able to tell you and the police where the call was coming from. I have been thier, when I was in the eleventh grade I had calls like that. When my Mom call the phone company and they traced it, it came back to be a friend of mine, we had got into a fight and that is why she was doing it. Well by the time the phone company knew who it was we as friends had made up. Well one thing about calling the phone company, once you do, when they find out who is doing it they are going to cut thier service, they get a fine of 1000.00 and they report them to the police and they are labeled as trouble. So if you are talking about your home phone thier is something you can do, but if you are talking about a cell then there is nothing that can be done, I have also had this problem, it went on for about a year. This person started out just calling and hanging up, then he told me about my appartment, my job my car and then one night he called and played my favorite song. I call the cell company and was told that they couldn't do anything about it is the person was blocking thier calls. Good Luck!

You have caller i.d. and it simply doesn't identify the number of the telephone from which the calls originate. (For starters, that indicates that most probably only one person, from one particular phone, is making the calls.) This is harrassment. Call the police and let them know what is going on. They will work with the phone company to track down the source of the calls.

I get this crap all the time. Well if it is someone you can call the phone company and theyll trace it. Otherwise it is most likely an autodialer from a company that is making a mistake, that is as long as you dont hear breathing and ect.

First of all, take some power over your own life. A complete stranger is callling you and they have control over your life? Are you kidding me? Number one, do not let a complete stranger have any power over you. Number two, if it was a nice, respectable young man that my Auntie would approve of, he would have introduced himself. They are not worth your time or worry. Tell them very loudly the next time they call to STOP calling you. If not the telephone service will help you block this number.

Talk to the Police and phone company, every call regardless of what you see on caller ID is recorded by the phone company.

get a read out of incoming calls. also if its persists call up the phone company and complain. i think hit *65 and when you get 3 calls and you've done that.. then call the opperator and tell them you want to press charges. im not sure about *65 or *57.. ask the phone company...may be different from state to state
