I am friends with this girls. Our families are all good friends as well, so they came to our house three months ago. This girl found ways to be alone with me during that time, and it got me thinking that she liked me. Over the next few months, I found her touching me more and making interesting comments. I do not remember her touching me this much before, but her brother says she does it all the time. Suddenly, I tested her to see if she liked me, and it seemed she did. Right after this, she got really strange, and I would only talk to her on occasion. It also seemed that she had her friends scouting for me or something. I once heard "Here he comes!" I stopped talking to her when it seemed she was playing games, and now she sent her sister to ask if I am mad. I really cannot know if she likes me or not. Can someone help me here???

My dad has a lot of depression issues and he needs to see a physciatrist or something apparently and he won't go. He's a serious drugatic and alcoholic. My dad takes everything out on me (not physicaly) and I tell my mom everything and she always gets mad but won't do anything about it, she just says he's a jerk and all. He finds every possible way to ruin things that are fun in my life on purpose because he gets mad at me all the time for nothing and those are my punishments.. its stupid. My mom and dad alreadly went to court for full custody of me but that was when I was 8 or 9 and both parents were bribing me and so i told the lawyer that i wanted to spend time with my dad also. That was all becuz my dad was being super nice and getting me anything i wanted, if i had the chance to go back i would change everything and i live with my mom. i don't know what to do, at one point he was starting to drive me to suicide becuz of everything and all the stupid fights.. what do i do? help plz

I'll be traveling to California from New Jersey in August to attend my grandpa's niece's wedding. The church wedding is at 2pm and the wedding reception is at 5pm. The problem is that I don't know what to wear because I'm slightly overweight. I'm 5 ft. 3 inches tall, weigh about 156 lbs. I'm in my 20s and I'm female, by the way. I'm guessing since this is a summer wedding that I would need to wear light color clothes. I need suggestions on what to wear and what would make me look slimmer and where I can buy these clothes. I'm also on a budget and I can't spend much money just for a 1 day event and I hardly go to formal events.

I was planning to get a divorce. I came home and my wife was gone. I slept alone thinking about her. I asked her to come back, but she did not. After she cleared my bank account, she wanted back, but I divorced her.
Now, I still have bad feeling toward her. I do not hate her, but I do not want to be with her. She tried and I refused. She lost my trust and I do not want to see her. Yes, I still miss her, but I am sure I do not want to be with her.

My friends were trying to get me to come see it last night and i have heard that all they do is torture each other in this movie. i do not want to see it cause i don't want to watch in on the big screen, i'm living in a divorce RIGHT NOW and he's torturing me. I love Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston but i just can't bring myself to see it.

i went on a great first date with this guy and then he called me and invited me on another date w/ his friend and his friends girlfriend so i guess its a double date. we are going to see benchwarmers. we talked for about 2 hours on the phone. i guess what i really want to know is how to get him to hug me or something. should i make the first move on the hugging?
and if this date goes well... should i invite him over to cook cookies w/ me and my mom and then watch a movie w/ just me? or is that stupid? i am 14. please help?

I have a problem with this, I play basketball which I am VERY good at it. I am a point gaurd, and practice alot. The point is that I really like this one guy and he is soooooooooo hot!! he is really good to, and he graduated last year and I would always see him at tournaments and the street courts. He knows me because I am a really good baller, one time I schooled him and he told me he gave me his best. So he gave me his number and he always e-mails me and he texts me back and gives me pretty long hugs, we would text each other all night. I really like him but I want him to know that. I have a girlfriend who has four dogs. One of the dogs likes to sleep in the bed with us. However; the dog wants to sleep by my leg. That's not a problem, the challenge is when the dog will not move in the middle of the night. My legs feels very cramped and numb. I sometimes wake up feeling pinned against this dog; or worse sandwich between the dog and my girlfriend. My girlfriend has indicated that she wants the dog to feel comfortable on bed. What should I do to assure that I get a comfortable nights sleep?

There has also been a misunderstanding over email; she gave me the silent treatment for 6 months. I asked her to write to me; she sent me a forwarded story, which I attacked. I should have waited to respond, but I didn't. Her forwarded story felt perfunctory as if she were just throwing me a bone.

We have been knowing each other for over 20 years. But a lot has changed from childhood til now. She is a stay at home mom; I have worked all my life. She has had miscarriages and now has two boys; I have never wanted or had children. She's very traditional and conservative; I am unconventional, non-traditional, and very liberal.

We have started talking again, but the emails so far have been weird. She attacks everything I say and seems to feel a huge need to explain and defend her life. I'm just happy to be back in touch, and I just want her to be happy, but she sounds angry and defensive .

Can this friendship to survive? Thanks for all thoughtful, mature answers.

School is out, and I'm starting 7th grade in July. 7th grade will be my first grade in middle school because in my district, 6th is in Elementary. Luckly, my whole class in going too, and the girl I have a crush on is in my class. For me, it seems impossible she will like me. I don't want to ask for her phone because she'll know I'll like her.
