He mislead people into believing that global warming is not natural.

Mr. Al Gore's movie left out these facts:
1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.

2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.

3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.

4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.

5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time.

We are informed that the world is like a globe and surrounded by water. If it is so how water on the lower part of the globe remains as attched to earth. If it is because of gravitation in centre then it is does not mean that the earth is floting on the water. Further how it possible when we travel in the lower part, is able to get sun and moon (as sun and moon are in the top) This concept is confusing and can anybody explain this to me. Is there any site in web to understand these aspects.

A group of islands off the coast of Papua New Guinea, called the Carteret Islands, are the first recognised inhabited lands that are experiencing the world's first environmental refugees. These Islands are disappearing as a result of rising seas due to global warming and its 1500 inhabitants are already preparing to flee to the nearby Bougainville Island, though some believe that the islands could still be saved with the assistance from developed, industrial nations with perhaps the construction of a sea wall, for starters.

What burns more fossil fuels car pollution or running the usual amount of electricity in your home? What if everyone took one day out of every month to not use transportation? How would you feel about that I think it would really help? It might hurt business but the environment is way more important. And why do you think it is that cars are becoming bigger and bigger and even though the technology is available to cut down on emission even more no one is using it. What if the government set a law in place that no cars could be manufactured after January 2008 that do not exceed a mpg limit? And what if laws were put in effect to limit the amount of traveling one could do depending on that rate and what they do for a living.

I know those laws would expend certain freedoms but it would be for the better good. Don’t you think I am right? Or am I delusional in my way to help the environment?

Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. But few listen, despite the fact that I was the first Canadian Ph.D. in Climatology and I have an extensive background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition.“Few listen, even though I have a Ph.D, (Doctor of Science) from the University of London, England and was a climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg.” . For some reason (actually for many), the World is not listening.

Believe it or not, Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This in fact is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. Environment Canada brags about spending $3.7 bill..etc., etc.

Whether you are in denial of it or whether you accept it, there is consolation. You will be a lime deposit some 650,000 from now. And any humans who might be alive by then (assuming that we haven't killed ourselves in all our various ways)..... will be pulling you out of the mountain to make concrete. OR give it another 5 million years and you will be some grand marble counter top. Does this not console you?

We are trimming our lights down, running our furnace less (lower the thermostat), not driving one SUV - we keep an old ford for dump runs. We attempt to recycle and are getting better at it. We are driving economic cars and I am personally fiddling with building a hybrid and/or alternative fuel car. Also, we are walking more, will be planting trees in the summer and educating any open mind on the truth. We are even running less water and making it our priority to try and run on minimal amounts...within reason.
What are you doing???
