Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. But few listen, despite the fact that I was the first Canadian Ph.D. in Climatology and I have an extensive background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition.“Few listen, even though I have a Ph.D, (Doctor of Science) from the University of London, England and was a climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg.” . For some reason (actually for many), the World is not listening.
Believe it or not, Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This in fact is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. Environment Canada brags about spending $3.7 bill..etc., etc.

When you quote an article as you did in the two additional information paragraphs you should credit the author. The two paragraphs you used are from:

It could be because the overwhelming preponderance of the evidence and majority opinion of scientists from all fields (climatologists included) disagree with you.
The very fact that you keep repeating that you are the first Canadian PhD in Climatology leads me to doubt you. So does the fact that you are calling people suckers.
If you really were the first Canadian climatologist though, that just means you got a degree first, not that you are even a good climatologist. I also noticed that your beloved University of Winnipeg has many climatologists teach and lecture there now that discuss global warming and humans, including Dr. Danny Blair and Dr. Andrew Weaver.
You may have been the only Canadian climatologist in the past (however distant), I don't know. But you certainly aren't the only (or even most well-known) one now.
Besides, a real climatologist would present facts, not just give their opinion with no solid evidence and rely on everyone believing them 'just because they have a degree'.

First of all i respect your academic professionalism in this field.
but haven't you read the article on Yahoo.com last week regarding that there is final empirical evidence/stats to suggest/link that global warming is "caused" by human beings(industrialization activities), they were able to isolate the data to eliminate the cause due to other natural means. the science community 've reached a bigger agreement to make this "conclusion". that report was released in a science meeting in france.
Yes , i do believe in global warming. and i do feel the summer this year is abit hotter. as CSIRO (the gov't science research center here in australia) have released statements that temperatures are going to go up in the next 3 decades within australia. So maybe i'm a "sucker" , but i wouldn't risk the future of our beautiful planet, by not being more cautious.

Because you're not (if you say so) the only one with a PHD... and there are MORE scientists out there that also have PHD's that are making the claim that global warming is indeed happening. Currently there are more and more scientists researching the atlantic for data that does prove this and they keep comming up with the same results.. so many educated people can't be wrong over ONE person with a phd... Moreover.. if global warming isn't happening then please enlighten us as to what is going on with our environment.. because one thing is sure, the world before CO2 was WAY healthier than it is today with it.

Can you please tell me the reason why CO2 is not the contributor to global warming? I'm a student from nottingham currently doing sustainability module and i also agree with you. Climate change from Ice age till today is not due to CO2. Can you email me bout this? I'll be doing a mini project regarding this issue soon and I think differently from my uni members.

I honestly see no reason to fear a global rise of about 2 degrees over the course of 100 years. People have taken a liking to the term "global warming" and like to throw it out as if the end of the world is near. Many people want to be the hero and righteously inform every single person they meet that the world is going to be destroyed by global warming. It seems like a useless cause.
Even if this so-called phenomenon were as dangerous as people have been making it out to be, I am not at all concerned. My philosophy is, I'll be dead before any real changes take place, so I have no problem leaving it to the next generations.

Yes, it is sad that so many people believe this at face value. I remember when I was in eighth grade, and the entire school was doing a science fair where every student had to come up with their own experiments (at least my school in Pennsylvania did) and the teachers pounded the scientific method into our skulls for 2 months until the fair finally came. I can't believe after all that that some of my own classmates, now in high school, would accept GW at face value without even asking about the methodology!!! Science doesn't work with GW theory of the theory of evolution, and science tells us that if you don't even use the right (scientific) method, you've got nothing at all, right???!!!They are both theories with supporting evidence that could point to any of a number of causes. It's all about the correlation, people, the correlation!!!!!

I can't believe that there are still people out there who have their head in the sand over global warming. Why don't you WAKE UP!!
There is nothing to support people's "beliefs" that there is NO Global Warming but there are whole libraries of carefully documented records of the world's climate that have been preserved... for the last few hundred thousand years.
This is what you are talking about (and seem to be a part of)

just because it is not due (entirely) to human production of co2 does not make global warming a myth, and just because you have a phd doesn't mean that people will believe you just because you say the sky is brown, we all know phd's who are blind morons. sounds like you may be among them. anyone who was in canada 20 yrs ago, and is here now knows global warming is no myth. Smarten up.
