To lands with an elevation at least greater than 25 or 30 feet which is a bit more than scientists believe the sea level will rise. However, as the melted ice caps of the arctic, antarctic and greenland will alter the oceans salinity profile, ending the great loop which transfers enourmous amounts of heat to the northern hemisphere. The warm gulf stream is the best known example of this warm water flowing towards the north sea, where it plunges to the ocean's bottom to return to the equatorial regions to start the cycle anew. This, of course, sets off a chain of events that will culminate in an ice age, such as man has never been through, at least men with sentient reasoning powers. So in view of this, my suggestion for higher elevation has a caveat. Make sure it is within say 20 deg of the equator and good luck. I'm glad I'm older when this comes up. LOL

You are soooooo misinformed!! The ice caps are already melting & the ocean conveyor belt will shut down, causing most of the Northern Hemisphere to freeze into the next ice age. People- go somewhere where you are 600 miles away from the ocean and where there is still arable land.

Yep the arctic caps are shrinking but as fast as they are the Antarctic caps are growing so you need not go anywhere you dont want to. Don't believe me? Look it up apparently Mr Gore could not search his invention the internet to discover that little inconvenient fact before putting out his little film.

For every 2 inches of sea level rise, water moves inland several yeards (90 something feet) so it doenst really matter where you move but dont move to an island because you will die..
