We are informed that the world is like a globe and surrounded by water. If it is so how water on the lower part of the globe remains as attched to earth. If it is because of gravitation in centre then it is does not mean that the earth is floting on the water. Further how it possible when we travel in the lower part, is able to get sun and moon (as sun and moon are in the top) This concept is confusing and can anybody explain this to me. Is there any site in web to understand these aspects.

The earth is a sphere, so on any point that you stand on, down will be toward the center of the earth and up will be away from it. The water on the bottom of the globe is attracted toward the center of the earth through gravitation. North and South are arbitrary; we could all use upside down maps and it wouldn't change anything. The sun and the moon are approximately over the equator and not the top or bottom, and if you're anywhere on earth, you can see them at some point. A way to visualize it is to get a globe and orbit a ball around it like the moon.

Yes, it is because of gravity, and technically we are not floating on water. As the Earth is spinning, we all see the sun at a different angle, and the sun is so big, well, from our point not really, but it actually is big so that the sun is not "on the top part" of the world. The Moon can be seen from the upper and lower parts of the globe because it is so close to us.

For one thing viewed from orbit, which side is up? Gravity is the force that allows matter to serve a purpose. The effects and interactions on matter are magical. Density defines gravitational force, the earth is very, very dense- heavy, therefore its gravitional force is capable of producing planetary surface forces condusive to human tolerances. Which we experience as 1 atmospheric unit (The pressure of the atmosphere at sea level is about 1013 millibars or 101.3 kiloPascals or 760 millimeters of mercury or 14.7 lbs/square inch or 1 atmosphere.)
Gravity creates the effects of the physical direction of down, which corresponds to the other virtual directions. Consider our gravity is carefully engineered to very exact, complex and celestial forces, if its accidental then so are miracles, and this is just one aspect of our physical laws that are so complex and carefully engineered that accidental seems more bizarre then design. Very basic questions it seems you need to read about Gravity and some bit of basic astronomy just check both on net.
