i want to join the school choir. im afraid poeple tease me and stuff. should i show up there? how should i start? how should i handle this???

Talking about music, i'm a little rusty and i feel like buying some new cd's so I would really apreciate if you recommend me some good bands.

Here is a short list of some bands that I like so u can get an idea of what kind of music I like:

Creed (My Sacrifice is one of my favorites)
MCR
Oasis
Some of the Black Sabbath songs (balads)

.... I really need your help, I cannot think of any other band (I feel like i'm old haha)

It really doesnt matter the music style, I just dont want it to be mainstream. I dont want the same songs everyone else has......So when Tim McGraw pops in your head, skip it and give me the one nobody else knows.

Who sings this song, the chorus goes "I Wouldn't Have Missed it for the World", it's an older country song (late 70's/early 80's) and it's a pretty upbeat song, I heard it on the radio late last night and it was actually a very good song.

I broke my high E string today and im gonna replace all the strings since they are the ones that came with the guitar...yeah im a beginner well kinda i have been playing for 2 years....and i have a Squier Strat Affinity series...what brand, gague and stuff should I get?..i want it to sound kinda like Santa sound but yeah..something like that...plase help..thanks =)
